Highest Number Of Anti-Gay Murders Ever Reported In 2011: The National Coalition of Anti-Violence Programs
Posted: 06/02/2012 1:10 pm

More murders motivated by anti-gay bias occurred last year than any year since the National Coalition of Anti-Violence Programs began collecting data in 1998, the national advocacy organization reported this week.

Transgender Suicide Rates Highlight Injustices

“Ninety percent of transgender and gender nonconforming people report harassment, discrimination and mistreatment on the job, and the injustices they face have devastating economic and personal consequences, according to a new survey.

A “staggering” 41 percent of the more than 6,400 respondents said they had attempted suicide, compared to a rate of 1.6 percent for the general population, according to the survey (PDF) by the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force and the National Center for Transgender Equality.”

Interesting fact: Gary Bauer, mentioned below, past President of the Family Research Council, is a signatory of the PNAC Statement of Principles

No matter what the outcome of the current issue concerning the FRC, the fact remains that they are a still a hate group. Bigots are already politicizing this, and using this incident to cover the fact that the FRC, and other hate groups, genuinely are extremely bigoted conservative hate groups, by trying to gain public sympathy for the group.

They are trying to blame this incident on those who are factually and truthfully, (notably the SPLC and other Human Rights Groups), pointing out the facts about hate groups, because these hate groups cannot stand to have their indefensible blatant bigotry and hateful acts plainly exposed for all to see in the light of day.

Interesting facts about current head of the Family Research Council, former Louisiana Republican State Representative Tony Perkins below as well.

SPLC: 18 Anti-Gay Groups and Their Propaganda

http://www.splcenter.org/get-informed/intelligence-report/browse-all-issues/2010/winter/the-hard-liners

Family Research Council
Washington, D.C.

Started as a small think tank in 1983, the Family Research Council (FRC) merged in 1988 with the much larger religious-right group Focus on the Family in 1988, and brought on Gary Bauer, former U.S. undersecretary of education under Ronald Reagan, as president. In 1992, the two groups legally separated to protect Focus on the Family’s tax-exempt status, although Focus founder James Dobson and two other Focus officials were placed on the FRC’s newly independent board. By that time, FRC had become a powerful group on its own.
snip---
Headed since 2003 by former Louisiana State Rep. Tony Perkins, the FRC has been a font of anti-gay propaganda throughout its history. It relies on the work of Robert Knight, who also worked at Concerned Women for America but now is at Coral Ridge Ministries (see above for both), along with that of FRC senior research fellows Tim Dailey (hired in 1999) and Peter Sprigg (2001). Both Dailey and Sprigg have pushed false accusations linking gay men to pedophilia: Sprigg has written that most men who engage in same-sex child molestation “identify themselves as homosexual or bisexual,” and Dailey and Sprigg devoted an entire chapter of their 2004 book Getting It Straight to similar material. The men claimed that “homosexuals are overrepresented in child sex offenses” and similarly asserted that “homosexuals are attracted in inordinate numbers to boys.”
snip---
Perkins has his own unusual history. In 1996, while managing the U.S. Senate campaign of Republican State Rep. Louis “Woody” Jenkins of Louisiana, Perkins paid $82,500 to use the mailing list of former Klan chieftain David Duke. The campaign was fined $3,000 (reduced from $82,500) after Perkins and Jenkins filed false disclosure forms in a bid to hide the link to Duke. Five years later, on May 17, 2001, Perkins gave a speech to the Louisiana chapter of the Council of Conservative Citizens (CCC), a white supremacist group that has described black people as a “retrograde species of humanity.” Perkins claimed not to know the group’s ideology at the time, but it had been widely publicized in Louisiana and the nation. In 1999, after Republican Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott was embroiled in a national scandal over his ties to the group, GOP chairman Jim Nicholson urged Republicans to quit the CCC because of its “racist views.” That statement and the nationally publicized Lott controversy came two years before Perkins’ 2001 speech.

FRC Senior Research fellow Peter Sprigg:

“I would much prefer to export homosexuals from the United States than to import them...”

....I think there would be a place for criminal sanctions on homosexual behavior.”

Chris Mathews: “So we should outlaw gay behavior?”

Sprigg: “Yes,”

SPLC: Find a hate group near you.

1. It is my opinion that those who write anti gay lies and libels on the internet help make the

environment that leads to such murders and other attacks. That is why they do what they do, in hopes of seeing attacks on gay people and trans people. These propagandists have blood on their hands as do those who protect them, defend them and help them go forward to do more harm.

People die.

It's practically a mathematical formula.

They know what's going to happen.

And sadly, frighteningly - LGBTIQ folk know what's going to happen too

Every gay person that is killed for any reason is probably included in their count, even if it was their partner that killed them.

I don't know what this DUmmie is worried about, I grew up and now live in a "rural conservative area".

As long as you are not out in the middle of the street shaging your partner you got nothing to worry about.

Nobody cares what you are doing DUmmie, just dont beat people over the head with your freak flag and you will be just fine.

Exactly.

That's exactly the way it is up here too, on the roof of Nebraska, the eastern slope of the Sandhills.

Yeah, we have them here too, but it's no big deal.  Live and let live, and everybody gets along.

Of course, around here, "live and let live, and everybody gets along," means "be modest and courteous and discreet; be considerate of the sensibilities of other people."

Of course, that applies to non-gays too.  Everybody gets along famously around here.

So, a queer sympathizer goes into a Conservative/Christian facility with a gun in a frikkin' Chik Fil A bag to (obviously) shoot the place up and the DUmmies can't manage to do anything other than ratchet up their hatred against Conservatives and Christians for whatever reason they've got lodged into their heads.

Gee, I thought that liberals were against blaming the victims....   :whatever:

I find it funny that they think just because someone doesn't agree with gay marriage they are a hate group. Does that mean that America in general is a hate group? I mean over 80% of the country doesn't agree with gay marriage, so they must be.

I guess you can call the liberals a hate group as well then, as they don't agree with anything a conservative, christian, baby lover, flag lover, country lover, troop lover, or constitution lover does.

Faggots are such drama queens.  ::)

They are all missing the telling point of the incident. The latest batch of shooters were all liberal nuts. each of them chose a gun free zone and there was a slaughter.
BUT.
The first liberal killer to step out of a gun free zone and into a conservative zone was stopped before he could kill a single person.

Moral of the story: Conservatives shoot back.

But I doubt that lesson will sink in.

There is a reason muslims do not burn 4000 cars in the US like they do in France. They will freaking get shot!

The New Black Panthers talk all big about starting a race war...but they haven't done anything yet. why?
They will freaking get shot!

OWS never went after the rich and killed them like they threatened too. Why?
They will freaking get shot!

This is why we are seeing all sorts of back door maneuvers by the rats to take away our guns. Their little armies won't fight their revolution for them if the targets can shoot back.

270 million guns is why the panthers and muslims behave themselves.
Wake the sleeping giant at your own peril.

More than that, I'm sure the poofter thought that the fact that FRC was in WASHINGTON DC made it a sufficiently gun-free zone for him to pull this off.

This should immediately put the lie to every excuse they try to use for gun control:  like you said, the guard was un-armed.

Ah, are you perchance addressing the subject of the German novelist Thomas Mann?  Because, sir, my Dad's family was British in origin.  No crazies in the bunch, although they WERE wonderful Rangers in the Revolution.  Two of the feminine branches my direct ancestors married into actually were the female progeny of the builders of Forts Blakemore and Duncan, both under the command of one Daniel Boone for two years during the Revolution.

Well, now youall can see I've been diving deep into genealogy (not to mention critter crises and grandson babysitting) this summer.  I've missed everyone and I KNOW it's my own damn fault for not frequenting the board.

Here to stay until our cruise in France in early November. :yahoo: :yahoo:  Greenbrier eat your heart out. :lmao:
