Title: poll: are the primitives losing it?
Post by: franksolich on August 15, 2012, 01:30:27 PM
Remember, I've been watching the primitives on Skins's island for eleven years now, a decade-and-a-tenth.

When this current year got underway, looking at the road ahead, I figured the primitives'd lose it.....about mid-October, just two or three weeks before the election.

Based upon past observation, old trends, I figured that.

There's still 81 days to go before the election--my God, we're barely halfway through August--and I'm getting sort of an impression the primitives are already becoming unhinged; I frankly expect to see campfires lit where the primitives propose the assassination of Romney or Ryan, or both, any day now, given their frenzied Hate-filled desperation.

The primitives have done it before.

When the primitives lose it, it's like watching a wheel spin faster and faster and faster, until it burns out.

Enjoy it while you can, I truly do not believe the DUmp will be around after the post election meltdown.

They see their Utopia failing.  Panic is setting in because what they want is slipping from tgeir grasp.

They're like rats on a sinking ship.

Yeah, they know they're doomed.

I'm seeing them more hunkered down, buzzing at each other in the hive, repeating the same spin back to each other, oblivious to the world outside of the DUmp.  If anybody makes a peep that is slightly dissenting, they are quickly shouted down as "concern trolls."

If I were my fellow alum Skins, for the next 81 days, I'd keep one finger on the "lock-delete" button twenty-four hours a day, so a primitive doesn't say something that excites the interest of the Secret Service.

I try desperately to avoid wish-thinking. I try to see things from the eyes of an outsider.

I'm seeing a lot of false bravado. For people who so horribly miscalculate everything such as the 2010 mid-term election, the demise of the TEA party, the efficacy of OWS, the popularity of government programs, etc all I can say is...

...the better they feel the better I feel.

They steadfastly ignored 2010 but reality is creeping in to their world.  This is going to be like a fire ant mound after the gasoline treatment.

They know that there is a better then good chance O will be sent packing so they deny it to the extreme as it makes them feel better and also in their deluded mind they think the DUmp has political relevance and can actually influence people.

Other then gasp in horror and head for the exit door that is.

There is no doubt about it. I fear for their pets and children.

I'm amazed they've managed to appear to hold it together - relatively speaking, of course - for as long as they have. :panic:

I think I'll revive the Margaret program to work with the DUmp 3 format.  Should be interesting.

There's such a thing as "mass subconsciousness," where people even though geographically and communicatively separated, all get the same idea at the same time.

This was most clearly observed in the Soviet socialist paradise during the 1920s, when peasants in remote villages hundreds of miles apart--didn't even speak the same language, didn't even know each other existed--would get a "sense" that the socialist confiscators were coming to "collectivize" their stuff, and run and hide it.

I wonder if some sort of "mass subconsciousness" is affecting the primitives the same way; they know it's coming.

Over the years, I've observed many examples of this on Skins's island, when the primitives have sensed an impending Great Discombobulation, and started running around like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off, even before it (the discombobulation) happened.

The primitives know it's coming, and that it bodes no good for them.

Oh man, that's going to be a lot of work.

But on the other hand, it'd be good to get a more-recent head-count of the primitives.

I'm guessing right now it's about 4,000.

I don't think they are losing it -YET-

After a few weeks of polls slipping away, and a less than spectacular DNC convention showing, worry will set in.

Right now they are of the belief that Dingy Harry is going to save the day and dish dirt on 'Rmoney' RE: Tax returns. Once the RNC convention comes and goes, and Harry produces 'buckus' then they will start to sweat.

And finally, once the MSM is left with little choice but to address the economy -- THEN we will see panic. And it will be glorious.

I think that they are slowly feeling that things are slipping away from them.

The way that I judge them is the reaction that the professional posters (prosense, kpete, tx4obama, applegrove blah blah) receive.

The primitives haven't lost it yet.
They've even doubled-down on the wager.
Personally, I hope they don't. Their on-going angst is music to my ears.

From my observations, the primitives don't have many marbles to lose.

Many will burn themselves out if the election does not go their way:  mental breakdown, drug "overuse", failure to pay the internet bill.  But in answer to your question, DU will continue.  A whole new generation of primitives will emerge and find the asylum right for them.

BTW: hi!  been meaning to join up and say "hi" for ages.

I love the denial in all things. They see what's coming, but just can't accept it.

This emoticon truly applies.  :panic:
