WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A group of former U.S. intelligence and Special Forces operatives is set to launch a media campaign, including TV ads, that scolds President Barack Obama for taking credit for the killing of Osama bin Laden and argues that high-level leaks are endangering American lives.
Leaders of the group, the Special Operations OPSEC Education Fund Inc, say it is nonpartisan and unconnected to any political party or presidential campaign. It is registered as a so-called social welfare group, which means its primary purpose is to further the common good and its political activities should be secondary.

1. this will be ugly
If they do this, I hope the Democrats keep up the attacks and completely unleash on Romney. There is far more they have on him.
No worry there, the Chicago thugs were already going to go after R2.

3. You know what endangers American lives?
Releasing the names of CIA operatives. That's what.
So? Releasing information that SEA Team 6 took out Osama didn't put their lives in danger?

7. nobody's gonna buy that shit. **** them.
Valerie Jarrett convinced Obama several times to not go after bin Laden. Third time was a charm, but only after a cover story absolving Obama of failure was crafted.

9. This group is fraudulent
If they try these types of attacks then they won't last long. If Bush had captured Bin Ladin then they woulld be fawning.
Go say that to the founding members face. :lmao:

10. Obama's campaign response will be NOTHING like what Kerry did (or didn't do).
It will be harsh and quick and painful for them.
Yes, expect the IRS and every other government agency to investigate them.

12. Unless they identify themselves and their backers and can prove they were SpecOps they're
just another lying GOPAC.
I've seen several interviews with a couple of them already. Liberals hide, conservatives show their pride.

14. Yet another desperation tactic from the Establishment.
This indeed reeks of the same kinda B.S. they pulled on Kerry back in '04.
Yes, it is B.S. when a someone speaks truth to power and the truth is against you.

I'm going to buy a parrot an teach it to parrot "truth to power"..."truth to power".
Or, I might add one or all words to the list of banned words.

They're back to Valerie Plame who appeared with her husband on the cover of Vanity fair. How undercover of a CIA operative are you on the cover of Vanity Fair ?

Vanity Fare? You could probably print most DOD secrets in there and they would still be safe.

This is not going to be good for Captain Zero. I love it....

I don't follow you, are you a Valerie Plame/ Joe Wilson supporter ? If that magazine sits on any news stand her face is there for any passerby spy or otherwise to see.

Nope, quite the contrary. I was implying that any secrets in Vanity Fair would not be seen by anyone important. Pretty sure spies are reading trash rags like that.
I'd guess more truths are printed in the National Inquirer than in most lefty media.

Well now, we all know how much the primitives like that term, "speaking truth to power."
The Bostonian Drunkard actually built his literary career on that phrase, "speaking truth to power."
So the primitives are in favor of "speaking truth to power," right?
Who's in power, and who's not, here?
Aren't Romney-Ryan speaking truth to 0bama-Bidet?
How come the primitives aren't liking it?

17. You know, with this stuff and Romney's unhinged attacks on the President, I think it will backfire..
I was thinking about this. Romney is getting more shrill, and groups like this are going to be popping up, attack the President in very personal ways.
But.. the issues here is that out of the two, the President is likable. Joe Biden is likable. Romney is not, and the majority of people view Ryan as suspect and too slick.
When the Rovians did this to Kerry, the truth was that Bush was seen as more likable, and when they did this shit to Gore, again.. Bush was more likable, unfortunately. The President has the advantage that he's been in office for four years, and he's likable and his family is beautiful and likable.
So for every attack, it actually makes Romney look worse and less likable, instead of hurting the President. You know how if there is someone at work that the boss doesn't like, and no matter what they do, it seems to be seen negatively. And if the person finds out that someone else is stealing office supplies and tells the boss, the boss ends up being angry with the tattler for telling on their co-worker? It's like that.
It's like what? :mental: :lmao:

The President has the advantage that he's been in office for four years,
Why? He hasn't done anything.

Monk, you're a bigger DUmbass than most. If you read the article, there's about five that identify themselves by name and their former title. You're an IDIOT. :hammer:

CIA operatives and SPEC OPS units, yes. Washington desk jockeys, not so much...
-
We don't have to swiftboat anyone. All Romney has to do is talk about Nobama's record. That alone should frighten most sane people out of voting for the Big Eared Kenyan.

I thought speaking truth to power was good?
-
I thought speaking truth to power was good?
Well, I did too, but apparently according to the primitives, it's only good when the (R)s are in, and the (D)s are out.
-
Why? He hasn't done anything.
Except be in constant campaign mode from day one in and out of the canadian made Magical Misery dunderBlunderbus tour bus. And in between more vacations and golf outings than any number of former Presidents combined.
