PHARR - The crying baby and loaded diaper were enough to tip the agents off - something just didn't smell quite right in this vehicle inspection at the Pharr-Reynosa international bridge.
Sure enough, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents found $10,000 stuffed in the 15-month-old's underpants. "We've seen people smuggle cash in shampoo bottles, coolers and pretty much everything else," area CBP spokesman Rick Pauza said Thursday.
