Oh my.
It's really odd, the things the primitives wonder about.

What if Mitt is planning on dropping out?
Seriously, think about it.
Mitt refuses to release his tax returns.
He waves the white flag on Bain criticism, and then picks Ryan as his VP.
He accidentally announces him as the next President.
The wingnuts are lamenting that Ryan isn't at the top of the ticket.
The Romney campaign and media are harping on the fact that Ryan will release two years tax returns.
The Romney campaign stabs Mitt in the back on picking Ryan.
Republicans/RW (Bush 2, Kristol, Murdoch, WSJ, head freepers) are rallying behind Ryan is being completely overshadowed by Ryan.
Hmmmm?
Just throwing that out there.

1. I would be terribly surprised if the mittiot dropped out now. He Wants To Be President.
He thinks it's his turn. I really don't think he'll drop out now.
I could be wrong, though...

3. I don't think so either, just throwing it out there.
I mean, who knows what the RW is up to? Mitt's campaign appears to be drowning in a sea of RW demands and missteps.

2. Won't happen.
But he better hire extra security if he wins.

5. Would he drop out before or after accepting the nomination?

6. Even though I wasn't surprised, I think Ryan is a really strange choice
Why would Willard, who (as I've said before) has all of the personality and appeal of non-flavored gelatin, pick someone with stage presence and a surplus of energy. It's like a same sex replay of 2 years ago. I can easily see Ryan going rogue, especially if Willard continues on his flim flammy current course. He might even play Brutus to Willard's Ceasar.

7. The Romney campaign & GOP have their own polling people. They'd know before us that the campaign was going south.
I think Mitt panicked and grabbed Ryan to shore up his internal party support and stop the bleeding. Because if the bleeding continued to the convention, he might not have survived the convention. These people like Rove, Norquist, Boehner, the Kochs, etc are pretty ruthless and they're making close to a billion dollar bet to win back the white house. They'd have no hesitation to snip the puppet strings and dangle some other puppet to get their way and Romney probably knows that now better than most in the US. There's enormous money (both in campaign dough and future taxes) and power at stake. This is the Citizens United election and if they can cash in, they can keep buying the power for several terms to come with a stacked Supreme Court. The stakes couldn't be higher.

8. I can agree
"I think Mitt panicked and grabbed Ryan to shore up his internal party support and stop the bleeding. "
...with that. What's baffling is that his panic showed when he immediately distanced himself from Ryan's budget.
It's a comedy of errors.
Uh huh, it's a comedy of errors, watching the primitives.

15. His staff probably came to him as said "did you realize how badly Ryan's plan polls in the battleground states like Florida?"
Mitt "No problem. Like always, I'll just flip-flop. At least this way, I'll survive the convention."

9. Egotists just don't do that kinda thing. Plus, some world event could damage Pres. Obama and help Rmoney win.
I think his dropping out is extremely unlikely.

10. You're right, and "Egotists just don't do that kinda thing."
...it also appears that they don't think things through either. I mean, the tax returns seems to have caught him off guard. It's amateur hour.

11. Unless he has a brain tumor we don't know about, it won't happen
His ego is too big and he is too delusional to think he will lose. He probably expects a landslide come election day.

13. Willard has his heart set on being President of the United States.
It's his dream job. He isn't going to drop out now. His pick of Ryan, though, assures me that his dreams will be dashed(yet again) come November.

14. he's not.
In case one doesn't know, the nonsense primitive has emerged as the number one 0bamaite on Skins's island, what with the disappearance of the FrenchieCat primitive.
but the nonsense primitive isn't as bright and colorful as the FrenchieCat primitive was.
One wonders what happened to the FrenchieCat primitive.....along with poor stupid Beth, Cryano, and the Taverner primitives.
There's a lot of absent bodies on Skins's island.

He waves the white flag on Bain criticism, and then picks Ryan as his VP.
Really? It seems that the more people learned, the more they realized it was a non-story. The MSM knew people had lost interest in their lies so they dropped the story.
He accidentally announces him as the next President.
So did Obama.
The wingnuts are lamenting that Ryan isn't at the top of the ticket.
Really, where?
The Romney campaign and media are harping on the fact that Ryan will release two years tax returns.
This is the first I've heard of that.
The Romney campaign stabs Mitt in the back on picking Ryan.
Republicans/RW (Bush 2, Kristol, Murdoch, WSJ, head freepers) are rallying behind Ryan is being completely overshadowed by Ryan.
What? Is the DUmmie channeling nadin here?
-
:stoner: That must be some good ganja.
DUmmies, the only people impressed by this Bain nonsense are you and Harry Reid. Get over it. It's not going anywhere. No toast, no legs, no turning tides.

I predict that at 9 pm eastern on election day, as Mitt is preparing to give his victory speech, DUnces will still be predicting that he'll drop out.

The better they feel the better I feel.
