Ryan passed 2 bills in his 13 years in congress

1. He renamed a Post Office in his district.

2. He got a tax on arrows lowered from 12% to a flat fee.

I kid you not!

3. Unfortunately, some of ours have done no better

Dennis Kucinich, for example, only passed one or two during his whole tenure as well, I believe, including the proverbial post-office renaming.

So this probably isn't going to be a very good indictment from the left.

Paul Ryan, one of the laziest Congressmen in the past decade

He's been in Congress for nearly 13 years, but Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) has only seen two of his bills pass into law during that time.

Ryan, who Mitt Romney has tapped as his running mate, passed a bill into law in July 2000 that renames a post office in his district. Thanks to Ryan, the post office on 1818 Milton Ave. in Janesville, Wis., is now known as "Les Aspin Post Office Building."

The other time Ryan saw one of his bills become law was in December 2008, with legislation to change the way arrows (as in bows and arrows) are hit with an excise tax. Specifically, his bill amended the Internal Revenue Code to impose a 39-cent tax per arrow shaft, instead of a 12.4 percent tax on the sales price. The bill also "includes points suitable for use with arrows in the 11 percent excise tax on arrow parts and accessories."

It appears Ryan had a personal interest in passing the arrow tax bill: He is an accomplished bowhunter. Jay McAninch, president of the Archery Trade Association, earlier this year praised Ryan on his blog for pushing that bill through.

The Robme camp has given us a way too easy target, way too easy.

Ryan is a clown, period

5. Wow. He's a real legislative trailblazer.

We pay him for what?

He has a better record than 0bama, how many of his bills got passed?
0bama voted present more often than not.

Poor little DUmbass goons.  They can't dredge up anything against anybody that Obama isn't already the worst at.

This will go on until the November landslide.

Yeah, he passed two more bills than Zero ever did. And I be he seldom ever voted present.

Ryan was too busy working on the budget, trying to get us out of this hole, and trying to allow people to take control of their retirement, instead of leaning on the government.

The only the bills that ever had Obama listed as a sponsor were gifts to him from the real sponsors of the bills and they were only done on bills that were sure to pass.

Do they really want to bring up a past voting record again?

Obama is the one that voted to allow babies that survived abortion to be murdered after the  failed abortion.

All 140 days of it.

A do nothing congess is the best kind.
Personally, I wish they would stop passing stupid bills and laws to justify their jobs, and start repealing thousands of worthless ones in order to justify their jobs.
Ya, I know, dream on.

I was just thinking the same thing. I would rather see these congress critters passing fewer bills rather than more. We have enough senseless unenforceable laws on the books now. I don't know much about Ryan, I still have to finish my research on him before I form an opinion on who he is and what he's about. Only a LIBERAL could reach the conclusion that he was being lazy. My view is that he is being responsible, that's he is not abusing his authority by passing a bunch of senseless bills, like restricting diet soda sales to every other Sunday, or any other stupid shit like you see being passed in California every other week.
He probably spends his time on more important things. There is a lot more to being a congressman than passing bills, unless you are a Democrat that is.
