Will Paul Ryan resign from Congress?
It would be cowardly to seek reelection to his House seat just to have a backup. He should put his money where his mouth is and resign now.

8. He won't.
If he does turn out to be the pick, which I assume he is, the RNC will have made him a sweet deal.
He'll be getting insane amounts of money funneled into his reelection via Super PACs.
Watch. See if it doesn't happen.

10. No he wouldn't do that
He'd have to give up living in his office for free in the Capitol. Although I expect he'll being moving somewhere else now for the duration of the campaign.

I think the Drunken Irishman was saying Biden ran for the Senate and VP at the same time ?

Why should he resign DUmmies? Your boy Bo didn't resign the Senate until November 16th 2008, almost 2 weeks after he was elected. Just before important economic votes too but he played politics instead.
The Google is your friend, look it up for yourselves.

They don't resign from their respected office anymore. John McCain didn't resign from the senate, and Barry and Crazy Joe didn't resign from the Senate until after the election. So why should Ryan?

I'm sure that realization is sinking in right now. :whistling:
Annnny time now....

I could be wrong but I think the last person to resign their office while seeking the Presidency or VP was Robert Dole.

You don't remember Hilary Clinton giving up her NY senate seat in order to run for president in 2008?

If she did I stand corrected. :thatsright:

Because the "mainstream" news media and talking faces on television pressured him into it.
They insisted it would be "impossible" to be Senate Majority Leader and presidential candidate at the same time.
And he bent, damn it.
Alphonse Capote Gore wasn't urged to resign from the Senate when he was running for vice-president in 1992, nor Lloyd Bentsen in 1988; George McGovern wasn't urged to resign from the Senate when he was running for president in 1972, nor Bobby in 1968.
(These are pre-Dole examples; of course there were many more after that.)
To the best of my memory, I believe Walter Mundane was the only honorable (D); he resigned from the Senate in 1976 after having been selected as Jimmy Carter's running-mate.

Yeah, right. Sure she did.

Remember when John Kerry (who served in Vietnam) resigned?
What about the cheating Breck girl, John Edwards resigned?
Oh I know, when Wyle B. Heussein Obama resigned?
It's probably because 0bama can campaign and do the job of president. Meeting with your cabinet every 8-10 months is more than good enough.
Yesterday's boy king 0bama's schedule.
Obama Schedule || Friday, August 10, 2012
by Keith Koffler on August 10, 2012, 12:17 pm
11:00 am || Receives the Presidential Daily Briefing
8:35 pm || Hosts an Iftar dinner celebrating Ramadan
All times Eastern
For 0bama what can't be put off until 11:00 in the morning, isn't worth doing anyway.

You're safe. She resigned on January 21, 2009. The day she became Sec. of State.
