Hey moron, the Constitution was based on the premise that our rights come from GOD, not Gawd or Jebus or any other cute misspelling you faux intellects like to use. This is why the left hates religion so much, they know that if people believe that their rights come from God that people won't allow the government to swoop in and be the granter and taker of those rights. The whole idea of a constitution was not to give the government power but to limit what that government can do.

It preserves the rights that we are born with. No one has to believe in a god in order to believe in natural born rights.

It's kind of like using "women's rights" as a kinder, gentler, euphemism for "abortion on demand."

one of the illustrative commentaters to ask Ryan for the roots of his 'knowledge' of our rights.
I want to learn the source from 'nature' (nature????) that has given us our rights. I no longer participate in religion but when I did I don't recall a rights list from gawd. I hope Biden can chew up ryan in the debates.

But DUmmies don't want to hear this. I have never quite figured out if they don't understand the concept or just choose to ignore it. "A government big enought to give you everything you want is also big enough to take everything you have." or something like that.

I'm not surprised that DUmmies misinterpret one of basic premises of the constitution.
