Romney stands a good chance of being elected President
It seems like the majority of posts on this subject endorse the idea that Romney doesn't stand a chance.
He does.
Why? The reasons are numerous:
1) Money, money, money. The big PACs and the rMoney campaign itself haven't even begun really spending the vast wads of cash that they're sitting on. They'll start this week and it going to be relentless, negative and majorly false from now until November 3. That can make a serious difference.
2) The economy. It sucks and lots of voters don't stick with what they've got under poor economic conditions. They'll vote for change. Any change at all.
3) Obama is black and there are voters who cast their ballot for him last time around, who'll say to themselves "I gave the black guy a chance and it didn't work out, I'm going back to the white guy who knows all about business. I'm not a racist because I voted for Obama last time around".
4) Obama is black and the racists (there are a lot of them) hate that he's president.
5) The MSM will continue letting rMoney get away with all kinds of shit.
6) The electorate is persuadable and as a whole, not informed. And stupid.
There's more but those are all major considerations.
Romney can win this thing. And that's even without taking into account that republicans can steal it if it's close. And it likely will be.

17. The posts you read here are meaningless
DU is not representative of the American electorate or the Democratic party.
Don
In other words all the ridiculous crap you post you know is nothing but horse shit. ::)

Well, grouchy old Don's not my mole, although one time years ago, I had one that ostensibly came from Chicago.
But that one's been dead for a long time.
edited because of TMI; sorry

I love the reason number 4...
That owebuma is black. Libs say this all the time, making who the racists ?

4) Obama is black and the racists (there are a lot of them) hate that he's president. The fact that Obama got more black votes than any Demonrat before him shows that blacks are racist. However, many conservatives wanted Herman Cain to win, but the left attacked him because they are the true racists.
5) The MSM will continue letting rMoney get away with all kinds of shit. That is why over 3/4 of the Romney coverage is negative, right?
6) The electorate is persuadable and as a whole, not informed. And stupid. Obama voters, described to a T.

The bitter old Vermontese cali primitive's a weird bird.
She's pretty old--there's some rumors she's an elderly aunt of my fellow alum Skins (but don't put too much trust in that rumor; it came from the elmers, who haven't been right about a primitive yet)--and descended from Old Money and Much Money in Connecticut.
She went to an exclusive girls' finishing school out in California during the early 1960s.
Come the hippies circa the middle of that decade, she either shacked up, or maybe even married, one of Barack Milhous' older brothers, but apparently there were some bad things that happened there, and so she moved to the northernmost part of Vermont, where she currently lives in seclusion, the crazy old lady in the woods.
I wouldn't call her crazy, though: I think she's just anti-social, and dislikes people.
Anyway, she makes a big deal about being pro-"black" in the state with the lowest percentage of black people, and was an early enthusiast for Barack Milhous simply for reasons of race.....but on the other hand, when a few years ago some primitive wondered about shipping the poor people (i.e., the blacks) of Los Angeles to an area less susceptible to earthquakes, the bitter old Vermontese cali primitive jumped in right away, saying, "Well, we don't want them here; don't send them here."
The bitter old Vermontese cali primitive resembles Margaret Thatcher on the surface, with her formidability. But that's just skin deep; the bitter old Vermontese cali primitive has nothing of the love, the grace, the understanding, the generosity and magnanimity, the gentleness, the softness, of the former British prime minister.
As she moves around, she reminds one very much of a battleship hoving into port.

I just wonder how DUmmy cali is making it in this 0conomy, after having wallduded herself with an infestation of earwigs.
I would have suggested that she move over to nearby New Hampshire, to another outpost of Massholes, and move in with DUmmy Raven.
That's probably not possible now, since DUmmy Raven also wallduded herself over in Rindge, NH, a small Massholian town where nearly everyone is on the city payroll.
