Romney hasn't got a chance in hell and you all know it.

Anyone care to argue for him?

And we try to keep them from doing that, LOL!

The rest of this thread is just wondering off in different directions.

Seriously, a DUmmie with 14,000 + posts doesn't understand that it is against the laws of physics for anyone to challenge it?

And of course brownshirt calpig swoops in to reaffirm that skins island is a fortress against free thought.

If Romney doesn't have a chance in hell, then why is team obama spending so much money and effort trying to smear him?

And why are the DUmmies so worried about him?

Come to think of it, I don't know anyone who voted for Lincoln, he must have stolen the election.  :-)

You DUmmies need to remember that Ronald Reagan was down -9 in the polls at this same time to Jimmah Carter in 1980.  Eat it.

And those polls weren't juiced to put Carter ahead.

Or to cite the actual quote, it was Nixon, and the columnist was Pauline Kael.

And yes, liberals really do run in packs like that.  Do I know people who are still going to vote for Obama?  Unfortunately, yes.  They're pathetic and sad, but still Obots.

I tried to drill down into that latest poll.  Near as I can figure, it was a random sample of 1,089 adults.  Which means, whether or not registered, whether or not likely, and no partisan weighting.  If I'm wrong, let me know.  They bury this stuff deeply.

CNN Poll  Obama 52  Romney 45

Interviews with 1,010 adult Americans conducted by telephone
by ORC International on August 7-8, 2012. The margin of
sampling error for results based on the total sample is plus or
minus 3 percentage points. The sample also includes 911
interviews among registered voters (plus or minus 3.5 percentage
points).

The sample includes 760 interviews among landline respondents
and 250 interviews among cell phone respondents.

Additional info if you look hard enough:

419 REPUBLICANS AND INDEPENDENTS WHO LEAN REPUBLICAN

That leaves 591 Democrats or Independents who lean Democrat.

In other words:

59 percent Democrats/Independents

41 percent Republicans/Independents

Another fine example of a juiced poll.

Yeah, it was from November 1972, and involved the New Yorker cinema critic, who'd lived in Paris since 1923 or something.

I suspect it got garbled into "Reagan" later because Reagan's massive landslide in 1984 was larger than Nixon's massive landslide of 1972 (and Reagan's own massive landslide of 1980).

But it properly belongs to Nixon, not Reagan, and 1972, not 1984.

They're just zombies for owebuma, worshipping at their anointed one altars, kneeling and praying to their Magic Negro inaction figure, by Mattel, lighting candles, and chanting in a low throaty groaning drone hopey change, changey hope, yes we canny, owe bum a.

Oddly, franksolich doesn't know anybody who voted for Barack Milhous in '08, and certainly not anybody now who plans to vote for him in November.

If franksolich were a poll, he'd then declare Romney the inevitable winner.

But franksolich, unlike Democrats, liberals, primitives, and their polling friends, realizes that he lives in a sort of different world, and so what holds true here doesn't necessarily hold true for other places.

In fact, some of these other places may be 100% different from the roof of Nebraska.

The primitives however think their world is the way it is in the rest of the world; that their world is the whole world.

Racist comment ahead...at least by DU standards...you have been warned.

2008....There were plenty of Obama stickers around here, mostly on "black" cars and such. I knew only 2 white people that would admit voting for Obama.

2012....I have not yet seen one (1) Obama 2012 sticker on ANYTHING around here yet. And as for the two white democrats that I know that voted for Obama, one passed away last year and the other one won't come around anymore. He is so ashamed of having voted for Obama that he hasn't been seen in quite awhile.

If he is truly ashamed, he is not a true lib. True libs cannot be shamed. They have none.

Around here, Democrat presidential candidates (it doesn't hold true for state candidates) can usually count on getting circa 20-33% of the vote.  There's always a few malcontents.

This year, Barack Milhous will be lucky to get 15%.

I've seen at least as many Obama 2008 stickers as Obama 2012 stickers, if not more.  I've also seen a smattering of Romney stickers, as well as a few Gadsen flags and Tea Party stickers.

The shortage of Obama stickers here right now could be because there isn't really a primary and the convention hasn't been held yet.

I guess I should wait until after the convention to start looking for Obama stickers.

I work near a college town, and I've only seen about 2-3 "Obama '12" stickers on cars, both on Priuses driven by liberal college professor looking types.    :lmao:

So you are saying that out of the 2 Democrats that voted for 0bama, only one will vote for him this time, and I mean the dead guy.

If you judge elections by bumper stickers and signs, then nutball Ron Paul is a shoo-in for his second term this year.
