2. Does Haiti have oil?

No? Well, if they want our help, they should find some.

Yeah! Damn that Obama and his Halliburton buddies!

4. If you want to rebuild a country, it definitely helps to have a competent, stable

and functioning government. Unlike Cuba, Haiti's current government has none of those attributes.

Neither does the US, apparently.

5. When I was in Cuba last year, our guide told us that when a devastating hurricane struck in 1963

destroying a lot of the existing housing in parts of the country, workers in other industries were given paid leaves to work on construction projects, and as a reward, they received a new apartment.

"reward"?

Old apartment is destroyed so the new apartment is a reward?

Anyone wanna lay odds on whether or not names would be named if somebody other than a democrat/infantile non-white guy was in office?

Perhaps DUmbasses need to take a moment and consider that Obama doesn't give a **** about you. He's in it for his power and his power alone. He made all these grandiose promises and then dropped the whole thing as soon as the PR juice ran dry.

Meanwhile, Bush is blamed for drving Katrina over New Orleans while completely avoiding all areas inhabited by white people because he hates blacks.

My hatred for liberals would evaporate by 85.723% if they would just stop being hypocrites and liars.

Yeah...with DUmmies it's all politics all the time, truth be damned.

Critical thinking skills..that's just a buzz term they occasionaly throw out like putting neosporin on a gunshot wound.

Primitives and their love of the much 'maligned and misrepresented' Cuba...  :whatever:

Since I know each of you primitives have access to the internet, try this.

Load up Google maps.
Look at your hometown's satellite images.
Pan down to Cuba.
Look at satellite images of any part of the country you want.

And then come back and tell us how 'wonderful' Socialism is, and how well Socialist nations care for their public infrastructure, and the welfare of it's citizens.

and as a reward, they received a new apartment.

A couple of weeks ago, PBS, was running a show on Cuba and how it's changing to a little more capitalist form of economy. People can own real estate and buy and sale it. Well, showed this fellow trying to sell his apartment in Havana. It was in an old dilapidated building that was falling apart. His apartment was probably built before air conditioning because it had a real high ceiling. HIS APARTMENT for a family of four, that 4 people, was ONE ROOM, you understand 1 room. The sleeping quarters for the family was like a suspended ceiling hanging from the higher ceiling ....about a 3 foot below the higher ceiling.....maybe it was one of those "FREE" apartments.

I couldn't believe that PBS would show such a thing casting socialism in a bad light.

Want to bet what the reaction would be if Bush was still in office and this was going on?

In Indonesia Bush beat the UN to the scene by an entire week. Yet, we got blamed for creating the earthquake by dropping all those bombs on Iraq (no, really).

In Bam, Iran Bush got us to where even the Iranian government couldn't go. Yet, he's damned as a dominionist who wanted to ignite the Return of Jesus by starting a nuclear war with Islam.

SO 0bama can't even get the third world shithole of Haiti rebuilt and that's setting the bar awful low.

How can anybody with an IQ over 80 vote for this total incompetent?

How can anybody with an IQ over 80 vote for this total incompetent?
In Milwaukee it is either a promise of free smokes or BBQ.
