I don't care how experienced and expert you may be in translating nadinese into English, no one, and I mean nobody can read this post and make sense out of it. We have nadin's response to the Sikh temple shooting. The Giffords shooting crossed the Rubicon. I guess this one crosses back to the original side. DOTY.

This is a general statement on our FAR RIGHT and militias
This incident, per MO, will be a lone shooter, lone wolf, you know the drill.
In my view after OKC the FEDS should have dealt with the Militia issue, PERIOD, and that one was as clear as can be. Yes, both Timothy McVeigh and his partner had at the very least very clear associations with the Michigan Militia.
The fact that this was not done, either speaks of incredible cowardice on the part of the Federal Government, or INTEL that they were stronger than many of us give them credit for. Thus Mine Resistant Vehicles up the ying yang might be the explanation. But I have noticed a pattern... even when a shooter has certain ties... they are ALWAYS lone wolves.
Well, yes I am jumping there for the moment, if it happens to be that this shooter was a militia member, count on it... lone wolf, because we are too cowardly as a nation, or rather our political class is, to deal with this.
And yes, it also speaks, and not in any glowing term, about the political power of a small group of very loud people.
Oh and all the arguments we had after the Aurora shooting, I guess will have to go and copy and paste, since yes... THEY WILL BE BACK... alas this is not just about guns... but ... a culture. So all I gotta say is it is time to put precious behind the priorities of the country, not ahead. But the report from DHS early in the administration about the far right, that had to be removed, speaks volumes.

Yes the administration was attacked for presenting the details of that report. Funny the report started under Bush.
It is time to deal with the RW lunatics

Answer me Nadin.

Okay, I read this six times.
It's still not making any sense to me, and I'll bet I have a higher IQ, and a better "reading comprehension" score than nadin does.

Is it possible that nadin understands what it us putting out there.
I don't think that nadin exists in the real world, those pictures of a bald dwarf are just a cover.
I think that nadin, and for what it's worth I have heard this from a credible source (or 3), that nadin is an internet bot that was coded in a fashion designed to cause utter confusion.

The poor pitiful little thing can't seem to remember all the BS that she types from one day to the next - 'is a cop', 'was a cop', was never a cop'. Makes me want to use that Southern phrase that DUmmies hate: Bless her heart!
But Damn! I love to read her posts. Suffice it to say they provide much enjoyment.

Nutcase nadin is the Michael Jordan of lunatics.

She's a whole planet full of crazy. Suffice it to say.

Just a question for you Nadin, since we know you lurk here. Besides the whole cop/not a cop lie thing I 'd like you to explain a lil something for me. You can do a Stinky and answer there at the DUmp if you don't feel safe here.
How is it that all the Lone Wolf shooters you are babbling on about all come from the left?
You bring up McViegh but he was hardly alone, did no shooting and there's still that whole possible unknown Arab thing. You forgot Eric Rudolph too. He was a rightly but there again, no shooting up anything he was another bomber. Damn, takes them right on out of your arguements doesn't it? I guess you just have to answer without rambling for 20 paragraphs about them.

When nadin dies I hope she leaves her brain for the scientists to study. I have never heard of a woman that had a Walter Mitty type mental disorder before nadin. I know that it is something that happens with men sometimes--having fantasies about a life of action. But a woman, albeit nominally? That has to be rare. Even more rare than female serial killers, I would guess.

Well now I'm stuck.
I thought "Walter Mitty" would be a good re-name for nadin, but then "Baroness Munchausen" abruptly came up, more fitting of her gender.

It took me a minute or two to find the Baroness Munchausen reference at DU. Yes, more fitting. A lot of hate for Hillary Clinton in that thread.

150. As a former cop I get it actually
View profile
it is not that a gun battle may break out, just that a former customer might come hunting. That is why they keep their CCW after they retire.
For the record, at least my SIL and BIL who retired from LAPD are required to re-qualify at the range every so often to keep their CCW. There is something wrong when many civilians are not required to even qualify the first time.
There are people out there who honestly need a CCW... cops and retired cops come to mind. There are some civilians who honestly need them too. But there are FAR LESS than actual CCW out there... that is the problem.
I have read and reread this posting several times. Her claim of being a former cop seems to be pretty clear.
Which brings up this:

how the "as a former cop" quote has been taken out of context. She was refering to someone else mentioned in that thread who was a former cop. You should delete your post with those out-of-context screen shots and apologize.
I went to the link as well. Why did she allow this post to be made without addressing it?

153. I could have qualified

Due to some of the customers I transported as a medic.
That would have been ten years ago.
I chose not to.
We own a couple, I am a really bad shot. I mean that. We enjoy the target range once in a while. That's the extent of it.

158. A former cop who is "a really bad shot"?

Hmm.
-
A former cop that's a really bad shot isn't shocking. Most former and current cops can't shoot their way out of a paper sack. There are exceptions but on average they suck at shooting.

I shoot with a lot of cops. Your statement is fact.
Many who become police officers had no interest in guns before joining the force. They shoot enough to qualify and that's it.

And for some ungodly reason their qualification bar is unbelievably low. I had to qualify to carry a pistol in Texas. I had to shoot a 120 out of 150. Cops, 70.

In Nebraska where I had to get a permit to just carry a gun, the qualifications score is something like 300-350 just to qualify. You fire 200 rounds of whatever you want to shoot and if you pass the written part after 3 days and the shooting part you will get a permit. My score was 481 out of a possible total score of 500. After that you don't have to re qualify on either part just give them your money and renew the permit. I try and go at least once a month if mot no longer then every 90 days on my own to stay competent.
