Is DU aware of this wingnut blogger who calls us DUmmies?

I found this doing a web search for DU today because the server appeared to be down. This blogger spends all his/her time trashing DUers and other liberal opinions. He/she even admits to trying to sell his/her rants and get a book deal.

http://dummiefunnies.blogspot.com/

He/she is actively lurking here to find quotes from us to comment on with any inane thought that pops into his/her tiny brain. Everybody is entitled to their opinions but I just wanted to make DU aware that this blog is out there and he/she is lurking here.

I'm curious whether it's legal to take our thoughts and use them for a book without permission - which is his/her admitted purpose for the blog.

I'm new here so maybe DU is already aware of this blog. I wanted to post this just in case.

Whew.

<<wiping sweat from brow.

Apparently the primitives aren't aware of the DUmpster.

Whew.

1. all those hours spent

can you imagine wasting your time reading freakrepublic just to make fun of them? what a sad life.

on edit: how bad do you have to be to screw up the formatting at blogspot?

2. Must have a lot of hate to waste so much time. I kinda feel sorry for him/her. It's truly pathetic.

3. I wouldn't be concerned

We have our names for them, as well.

I suppose it's better than actually smacking each other across the face.

4. True, but...

...what about taking exerpts from this website to try to get a book deal out of it? Read the profile info.

I'm not concerned about name calling and such. It's probably best to just ignore people like that because they crave attention, but I primarily wanted DU to be aware in case there are any legal issues.

5. I cant' see anyone buying a book...

...when it's all available for free to anyone who cares to lurk.

Besides, most of the discussions here deal with time-stamped topics: politics, news, current events. By the time he gets the book published, it will read like last month's newspaper.

6. I know, but what I care about is the legal ramifications. There's no way they'll get a book deal out of it but just the fact that he/she is blatantly trying to sell our content and his stupid commentary bothers me.

DU should be aware just in case.

7. his formatting is worse than mine

as for the rest of it, I see him going to a vanity press. Maybe something will sink in while lurking.

8. It kinda makes me uneasy knowing there are RW bloggers lurking here to use material against us. But at the same time, it also shows that DU has become a real successful site because it is known by so many people on both sides.

9. Good point.

We must be doing something right to draw such attention.

I love how they claim that we have no lives when we spend maybe a few minutes during the day reading their crap then reposting it. Meanwhile they suck on the bong and hang out at DU all day long. Maybe that is why you never hear any of us demand that the government give us more stuff, we are too busy getting our own stuff.

(catching breath)

Several years ago I wrote an article for the state EMS journal, on the risk of contracting Herpes Simplex Virus by performing CPR.

Using DUmmy RedNoseLiar's peculiar reasoning, Herpes Simplex Virus must be doing something right to draw such attention.

Oh my.

Oh meh.

This one didn't do much for me. I like the threads better where the DUmmies react SPECIFICALLY to things PJ and I write in the DUmmie FUnnies.

Li'l Beaver is disappointed.

To quote another DUmmy, "If you don't want people laughing at your beliefs, don't have funny beliefs.".

How long have the DUmmie FUnnies been around?

Like, since about September 2004?

And the primitives are just now discovering them?

At this rate, Romney'll be completing his second term by the time the primitives discover the DUmpster.

I'm breathing a sigh of relief.

It's been a couple of months now, since I've been mentioned on Skins's island.  The DUmpster's been mentioned once, with some decent and civilized people here named by name, but not franksolich.

It's all good; I don't care much for the primitives looking over my shoulder at what I write.

RedStateLiberal understands what is most important to liberals "AWARENESS".  They think most problems of this nation can be solved simply by becoming aware of them.

I thought they knew about the DUmpster? At any case, that thread is kinda funny. I just goes to show just how stupid they are  :rotf:

I get a kick out of the DUmmie FUnnies. I hope they keep coming.
