Oh my.
She just had to remind the primitives she's still around.

Just breaking and waiting for asignment
after which a photograph of some fire
Witness, resident photo
if you live in San Diego County... fire near downtown Alpine, brush, structures might be affected... not sure yet.
Also I-8 is closed due to smoke.
And yes, it is windy outside my window.
So if you happen to be in the area...
And here is the alert
I-8 East has been shut down due to a three-acre fire burning in downtown Alpine, near the intersection of Alpine Blvd. and Tavern Road. The fire is burning toward Interstate 8, Cal-Fire Battalion Chief Nick Schuler told ECM at 3:10 p.m.
Alpine Sheriff's Paula Dickenson reports "low visibility" due to smoke on I-8 between Tavern and Dunbar.
Cause is not yet known, however the fire was reported as having multiple ignitions, ECM has learned. Watch for updates soon.
Watch for updates at www.EastCountyMagazine.org
Update they are starting to stand down.
One thing they learned locally from the fires a few years back is that when we have one of these suckers start, doubly so when they start near structures, is that they throw everything they have available including the kitchen sink. This is a good thing, but it has a dark shadow, one, two fires, yup, we can shit enough units with mutual aid, three or four, it starts to get dicey.

1. Add an accident on Lake Jennings
I-8 will be all but fun today.

2. I had not heard much about these fires recently... But I suppose this is August and California is a desert... I hope no structures have been hit....

3. Thanksfully none
We have one a week now... mostly grass vegetation, flashy fires. This one was over at one acre and the kitchen sink thrown at it.
But October is the bad time for these things.
The above's the whole campfire, and it's been up for a bit.
nadin owns three of the four comments.
It doesn't look like the primitives care very much about what nadin's up to.

Nadin: Traffic reporter girl. I had to read that twice. No spelling errors? Frank are you sure that's nadin, and not some imposter?
I'm having my doubts when even Zappaman fails to show up.

Actually, the perfectionist I am, it galled me that I had to use her misspelling in the title.

Its a wonder how the MSM gets by without having her as a lead anchor on the network news. :lmao:

To replace "thrill up the leg" Chris Matthews ?

She is now writing for San Diego free press, I'm sure she spends many nights at home waiting for an assignment.

She sure puts the "ass" in "asignment", doesn't she? :lmao:

A three acre fire ?

It is funny how someone with that much claimed education never took a basic English class.

They should give her a helicopter. She could be the pilot and the mechanic.

By the way, the zapping primitive shows up at nadin's campfires only when nadin makes yet another preposterous claim about having been something, or done something.
If she'd claimed to singlehandedly put out the fire, he'd be there.

I'd be willing to give her lessons, it's what I am doing now. The pilot part anyway. But maybe I am perceiving this backwards, maybe nadin can teach me a thing or two.

Attach a bambi bucket and she could fight those fires while she does the traffic report. She won't have to do them like Les Nesman anymore. :)

What is a quote on quote "flashy" fire? :lmao:

Nadin broke a long, long time ago.
