The meme regarding this from the left, is that so much of this new debt is "automatic". There is only a sliver of truth in this claim. Yes, if you did nothing the interest on the debt would have driven up the debt 70 to 80% of the 5.2 trillion figure. That's because the Magic Negro inaction figure is excellent at analysis paralysis. But the real truth is that at any time the budget could have been cut by equal amounts, and balanced, without the interest on the debt driving it up further. In the end very disingenuous to downright misleading by the libs.

Ok what is the lie?
Any truth that paints a Democrat in a bad light is, by default, a lie. It's part of the same stipulation that automatically assigns blame to the Republican Party for the actions of corrupt and racist Democrats throughout history.

This is interesting, the debt around the time Bush took office, then the debt around the time the Democrats took over the House, then the debt when Obama took over, then the debt when the Republicans took over the House:
01/19/2001 5,727,776,738,304.64
1/19/2007 8,675,085,083,537.48
01/21/2009 10,625,053,544,309.79
1/21/2011 14,060,136,959,466.51
So the debt rose 3 trillion in 6 years under Bush, but rose 2 trillion in 2 years Democrats had the House, and in the 4 years they had the House debt rose almost 6 trillion.

Oh my!! Economic illiterate presidebt Obama's regime of Office of Management and Budget slashed its GDP forecast for 2012, to 2.3% from 2.7%, and for 2013, to 2.7% from 3.0%.

This does mean that the economic illiterate 0bama thinks that the second half GDP growth is going to be almost 3%. Anybody else think that is going to happen? Not me, I bet total year GDP will be around 1.8%. The most super genius in the history of the universe predicted that his stimulu ah er taxpayer payout to public unions would propel GDP growth to almost 5%. Juuuuust a bit outside on that one champ.
I heard about this on the ABC/NBC/CBS last night...oh wait. This is a big-gov totalitarian democrat party member as president so this was blacked out.

Not too small. Facts, obama (doesn't deserve to have his name capitalized) added more to the national debt in three years than Bush (deserves to have his name capitalized) did in eight years.
