Title: Romney 'Looking Forward to the Bust of Churchill Being Back in the Oval Office'

At an event in London, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney said, "I'm looking forward to the bust of Winston Churchill being in the Oval Office again."

President Obama famously sent Churchill's bust back to Britain soon after coming into office. As the Telegraph reported then:    A bust of the former prime minister once voted the greatest Briton in history, which was loaned to George W Bush from the Government's art collection after the September 11 attacks, has now been formally handed back.

The bronze by Sir Jacob Epstein, worth hundreds of thousands of pounds if it were ever sold on the open market, enjoyed pride of place in the Oval Office during President Bush's tenure.

But when British officials offered to let Mr Obama to hang onto the bust for a further four years, the White House said: "Thanks, but no thanks."

Ya know what?  I think that Romney should find the sword of a British naval officer who had surrendered to an American naval officer in, say, the War of 1812, and return that to the Queen.  I think that this would be taken as a mending of the relationship between the US and the UK--and maybe make it better than it had been.

THAT would be a great gesture on Romney's part -- especially this year!

Where is the bust now if it's not in the Oval Office?

This is where it first ended up -- not sure if it's still there or not:

But the British Embassy in Washington has now confirmed that it sits in the palatial residence of ambassador Sir Nigel Sheinwald, just down the road from Vice President Joe Biden's official residence. It is not clear whether the ambassador plans to keep it in Washington or send it back to London.

At least it didn't end up in the John Conyers Memorial Broom Closet in the basement at the Capital.

Romney has class. Some people no matter how rich they become or what political stature they obtain have no class. The Magic Negro fits that mode. Plus, the individual that advises Obummer and Moochelle on decorum must be a one eyed blind drunk.

Well, we all know how that turned out. I guess him hating Israel and being muslim wouldn't allow him to mingle with the infidels.
