Mitt Romney dodged the draft during the Vietnam War.
They do not remember that they liked Clinton, despite not being in the military AND writing a letter stating that he loathed the military.
They have forgotten that even though Biden, born in 1942 (making him of an age to have served in Vietnam) also was not in the military. Additionally, he voted FOR the Iraq War Resolution, and that whole process had the DUmmies in wadded panties when was going on.
"Your guy does it, it's bad; my guy does it, it's ok" - this sort of thing appears in their arguments quite regularly.

Once again -
Even though Romney did have school/missionary deferments, he was never drafted. Look up the lottery data yourselves, primitives.

Those pesky facts don't seem to deter them in their zeal.

Since conscription ended 40 years ago, this has become a complete irrelevancy to the vast majority of the electorate, even the ever-shrinking proportion of the population that has done military service themselves.

That is why I don't understand why the DUmmies bring that out so often. I retired in 1988, and even then everyone I worked with or around was either a career person or a volunteer.
But when the DUmmies point their accusatory fingers at someone for not having military service in their resume, it's always a member of the opposition - never wanting to mention their own people likewise never volunteered or were drafted (for those who were of such an age way back then.)

Dane, their stances on the military pretty much preclude them from being questioned over any military service.

If I ran for political office, they'd probably then say, "Yeah, but you didn't make Admiral," or some shit like that.
