Title: Obama - 'If youâ€™ve got a business, somebody else made that happen.'
Post by: Chris_ on July 15, 2012, 06:43:50 PM: Obama is borrowing a page from Elizabeth Warren's playbook... if you achieved anything in your life, it's because the government was there to prop you up and hand it to you, wipe your chin, and powder your bottom.

The point is, is that when we succeed, we succeed because of our individual initiative, but also because we do things together. There are some things, just like fighting fires, we donâ€™t do on our own. I mean, imagine if everybody had their own fire service. That would be a hard way to organize fighting fires.

Actually, the Mayan calendar is off by 450 days. They didn't have leap year at the time it written.

With my business he's wrong on the 'you didn't build that' line because I did indeed build it, but the 'somebody else made that happen' line may be partially correct IF he is talking about the current state of my business. Until he and his comrades took over the government my business was successful and growing every year. Since he and his comrades took over the government my business has been struggling and shrinking every year. I didn't make the struggling and shrinking happen. Somebody else made THAT happen, but I don't think he and his friends will fess up to it.

The roads are full of potholes and the bridges are falling apart but the democrat voting poor are dying from overweight issues/diseases.

When you're watching your business go down the tubes & wondering how you are going to feed your kids maybe not.
