Very rarely do I post a local interest story but this one is by far an exception. It had me shaking my head in disbelief at her gall and stupidity.

Since being sent to a state prison near Ann Arbor, Tia Skinner said she has not heard from her mother, her siblings or anyone else from the close-knit Yale community near Port Huron.
"It's been rough. It's hard losing your whole family in a blink of an eye," she said. "It's tough because that's my family; they're supposed to stay by you through thick and thin."
Her Mother is stabbed 25 times because of her plot and she wonders why they don't visit?
She is appealing on the grounds that she was interviewed by police as a minor without parental consent and had ineffective counsel.
Let me get this right, her she has her father killed and her mother almost killed and she is appealing her sentence on the grounds that her parents never gave permission to the police prior to her questioning?
That's brilliant.

WOW! I really shake my head when someone says they would never disown their child and they would stand by them no matter what. I am sorry if this offends but if my children ever did something evil as murdering someone or hurting a child, they would never see me again. There are some things that are unforgivable and the child rape/molestion part really is the clincher for me.

Anything is possible if you have a HAA-VARD educated constitutional lawyer.
