This 'hatred of Obama'...
Where did it come from? I don't recall any such rhetoric when he ran in 2008. It's so ugly and I wince whenever I hear it. He, of all people, doesn't deserve that. I think it's abominable and it clearly shows how LOW certain people have sunk.

7. No, it started as soon as he became a possibility of a candidate
Here in the South, some people were freaking out that Obama had a chance at the White House. During the 2008 election it got really ugly down here but the MSM ignored most of the racist aspects of the campaigns.
The day after the election it got pretty ugly - since I was a team leader and my name and number was out there, I got some nasty calls and some that were just pathetic. The saddest was the man I spent an hour talking down. He was paranoid because one of the volunteers had stopped at his house the night before, encouraging him to vote. The worker was out there late - maybe 5:30 - and after he left the man's door, sat in his car for a few minutes.
The caller was sure the worker was adding his name to a database so that Obama could come get his guns. Seriously, that is what this guy was telling me and he wanted me to remove his name. I explained that the lists the volunteers were working from were voter registration lists and the only way to remove his name was if he actively asked to have his voter registration revoked. I wasn't about to tell him that would not actually remove his name, just take it off lists generated to encourage active voters from voting.
Cool bouncy. I'll give it half a bong.

38. McCain treated Obama as an equal. Palin brought in the nastiness equating him to terrorists.
HUH?! I don't remember McCain OR Palin bring up this clap trap. Ever! However, my mind isn't made up of what I want to believe, and selectivley hear either. It's made of facts, and actual data.

53. And some of that emanated from the crowds.
As you said, McCain did not engage in hateful rhetoric himself, but some of the people at GOP campaign rallies did. I recall very well that one man shouted, "He's a terrorist!" and someone else -- possibly at the same rally, possibly at a different one -- yelled out, "Kill him!"
Documented proof? Video proof? Thought not. Just like the time you all screamed about some other politician being called a "n*****" by the Tea Party, and when video evidence came out to the contrary, you hid in corners with your mouths shut. Idiots.

The libs have a deathgrip on the meme that owebuma is hated. The idea that what is actually hated are his policies, is a foreign one.

^ Excellent, Chuck. Hi5.
I won't deny I hate Obama. I hate him for the socialist he is. For the ideas he has. For the policies he has already put through to hurt America, and her allies. For the promises he has made to his own base, and yet (thankfully, actually) broken soon after he made them. For his pettyness. For the fact that he can't take a statement like "You lie!" or a minor interupton without getting all buthurt. For killing jobs. For bringing in socialized healthcare, and trying his damndest to bring abuot socialized medicine. Lastly on my own personal list, I hate him cause he drinks beer like a fruitcake.
I DO NOT hate him for the color of his skin. No matter how much you DUmbshits want me to. Oh, and you can quote me on that, DUmmies. Cite me as a source. I dare you.
PS: If Frank was a DUmmie, he'd at least have the balls to respond to my call out.

The DUmmies cannot grasp that there has been criticism of Presidents and their policies by opponents probably since the very first President.
They (DUmmies) have been so caught up in Affirmative Action for so long that now, with Obama in the WH, any and all criticism *must* be based on racism, simply because it fits into their belief system.
Sometimes I think they (the DUmmies) don't really know what racism is, inasmuch as they like to stick that label on so many things that wads up their panties.

The man is terrible failure as president and has caused all of us great pain. That is why I hate him and I do hate him. the misery and death that he has brought forth is contemptible and worthy of hate. My grand children's grand children will be paying for what this man has done.
-
I hate Obama's policies and his personal beliefs, not him personally. There is a difference. It is like a sinner, you hate the sin but not the person.

I agree, as I don't know him personally. H5.

My how quickly the DUmmies forget who exactly started the whole birth certificate thing and the scenario about the phone ringing at 3am.
It wasn't anyone with an R beside their name.

The lie has made its way around the world a billion times while the truth is still putting its boots on.
