Hi,
I am really becoming bothered by the wedge that is being driven between classes here in the US. It is working versus welfare, then it is black versus white, Christians vs. Jews vs. athiests. It is not just disagreement, it is really coming off as hatred. One came across the internet today about blacks for Obama and it was calling for a revolution. Farrakhan and Wright have been calling for racial warfare for years. Black Panthers view themselves as a trained army. The beat goes on.
Go to the Blaze website and see the stories and the passion and hatred being spewed at people who happen to disagree with the way others think. We have an entire congress that appears to be bought and paid for by special interest groups, it is in the press every day and no one seems to care. I really fear for the kind of world we will see 20 years from now.
In the fall of 2008 a Russian Scholar predicted the breakup of the US in a similar fashion that happened in the Soviet Union. While I did not agree with what he drew for the finished product, his logic behind why there would be a breakup made a lot of sense at the time.
Right now we have several states that have affirmed their sovereignty in the last three years. 26 states could easily opt out of Obamacare. If they try any kind of gun control you will see several states push back and big time.
My fear is we are very close to a spark that could really put us over the top. If BO gets booted out of office, I would not be surprised if we see stuff that we could never have imagined in this country. I am sure I am not the only person who is finding it increasingly difficult to have any type meaningful discussion with hard core liberals these days. Present them with facts and they flat do not care.
All we can do is hope I am wrong, and stock up on the proper supplies.

With few exceptions most of these "minority" elements are pure talk. What little "training" these militant groups are getting is a joke. The remainder, Occupoop, Move On, & whatever are simpering cowards. I'm confident the local law enforcement or, at worst, National Guard can handle it. If necessary there are folks out here with good training and "proper supplies".

I bet they also perceive themselves as an indomitable, indefeasible, downright superhuman unstoppable force.
Personally I hope the last one standing still thinks so just before he's dropped by some old Korean War vet with a lovingly-preserved Garand.
Sorry if that sounds hateful or warlike. On the other hand, not sorry at all. If the crap hits the fan it'll be because those people threw it, and the rest of us will clean it up.

Yeah that. There may be a whole lot more crime with 'Ideological' and racial excuses attached to it by the perps and gangs, and some true domestic terrorism, but they don't have the organization, intellectual honesty, guts, or unity to actually start a real stand-up fight.

Hi,
I agree with you. If it is going to happen, bring it on, while I still have an opportunity to participate. One thing about old farts that most people do not get is this. I am 72 years old, now have a great grandchild, sure do not have a lot to lose at this point. Too young for Korea and too old for Vietnam. I suspect there are many who feel they might be inclined to right some wrongs and would prefer to die with their boots on.

I think the biggest obstacle to the "militants" is the fact that most of the populace is armed and ready to defend themselves. Well, except for the liberal cities who banned guns. Obama & Co, are doing their best to divide the country any way they can. It wouldn't surprise me if he DID try to declare martial (or marshall for the DUmmies) law and suspend the elections if it looks like he would be defeated. At that point, I believe the silent majority would make their feelings known and a real war that those "militants" thought they wanted would begin. Just my $.02.

You would need the cooperation of the military to declare either martial or marshall law. Based on my 28.5 years military experience, I'm betting there would be lots of logistical problems. The states conduct elections and, any that would cooperate with such an order would just mean less votes for ABM.
-
I don't believe the campaigner-in-chief would declare martial law before the elections but he might if he loses.... or he might just start a major war to stay in power before the election to stay in power.
The sorry bastard main concern is staying in power at all costs cause he does not give a crap about the USA. We are living in dangerous times with this maniac in office.

Any of your scenarios require the cooperation of a significant portion of the U.S. Military & he ain't gonna get it.

...and that is why he has seeded it with queers and Muslims.

If the bastard gets in again, watch out for him to try to eliminate the two-term limit for our presidents.

Exactly. I fully believe that he would stop at nothing to remain in power. I think he'd try to use the military against the citizens, but they wouldn't take the orders. Thats why he's trying to get as many people as he can labeled as terrorists and doing his best to do away with personally owned guns. I think he's trying to undermine the military to establish his own personal military. Sorry if I sound paranoid, but I don't trust the campaigner in chief.

Since before his crowning of the King of the World, I agreed with everything you posted, and I still do.

I don't think so, guys. First of all, that's a constitutional amendment that would have to be repealed -- no easy task.
Secondly, and most importantly, Barry is just too ****in' lazy to do the prez gig more than he absolutely has to for the Party, for George Soros, and for communism.

Hi,
According to Dick Morris, Obama and Hillary are preparing to sign a UN arms control treaty in late July that will restrict gun ownership big time. Morris points out that if the treaty is ratified, in effect it negates the second amendment. Notice no publicity. He is really concerned about a lame duck congress ratifying the treaty.
In the meantime, if it does not get ratified, it still goes into effect unless the new president renounces the treaty. The date is July 27th and here is the current link:

He pays no attention to the Constitution, and I think he'd kiss off all of his wonks to be King of the World.

I read the article, and a similar one that discusses the Supremacy Clause of COTUS, and it's interesting.
But Dick Morris isn't what I'd call clairvoyant. He's a pretty good huckster for himself and he's a schmarmy schmuck that creeps me out. I'm not signing any petition posted on Morris's web site. It's worth an email to my congressman and senators, although Claire McCaskill is a lost cause.

Same here. He is a white Jessie Jackson/Al Sharpton who can not talk two seconds without mentioning his web site begging for money. I think the guy is a scum bag also who knows a lot of Clinton extra marital affairs but that would kinda make him a hypocrite in doing so.

Dick is generating traffic & buzz. It takes a 2/3 vote of the Senate and (not or) the President's signature to ratify any treaty. Per the Constitution, a treaty that has not been ratified can not be enforced . Anybody really think they can pick up 13 Republican Senators?

I'm not convinced they can pick up all the democrats for this vote, let alone 13 republicans.
-
A lot of the hate originates from the cloak of anonymity of a website. Save for a few seriously deranged individuals, they are cowards - the entire lot of them.

And, if it does come up for a vote and is defeated outright . . . wouldn't that negate the Obamessiah's signature entirely?

Constitution? He don't need any friggin' constitution.

No, his signature is perfectly valid. But it takes two separate acts to ratify a treaty. The other being the 2/3 vote of the Senate. There are probably treaties sitting in a drawer somewhere in the Senate with Grant's signature that never got the 2/3 vote.
