So conservatives think they can "take back their country" by force?
They may find they have to pry it from our dead cold hands. Maybe they should start small in liberal bastions like East Cleveland and the Bronx first.

Tha Madcow pic . . . That rifle is something along the lines of a .44 WCF or, more probably, a .45 Colt. It looks as if there's serious fouling at the muzzle--lead, most likely. As for the hose clamp, well, that looks as if it's a "field-expedient" sling swivel.
As for s(P)ammy and her Glock, what's the range on one of those--maybe 50 meters? Tops? Hell, I can take the Model Seven and hit something at 300-400 meters and not even think about it. C'mon, s(P)ammy, let's meet on the field and we'll see whose head is turned into a canoe.

I have hit steel out to 1000 meters and have the graduation certificate to prove it. Best four weeks ever in my Army career was learing how to shoot better at the School run at Ft Campbell Ky For Platoon Snipers. It's just to bad it wasn't the Army Sniper School but it was run by a former SF vet with two tours in Vietnam.

Over at Oak Ridge, a shooting range near Knoxville, Tn., they have a 1000 yard match twice a year. Standing at the firing line, looking downrange, it's a looong way. Walking from the firing line to the target area, you need to pack a lunch.

She's standing with her feet together, her hips uneven, and a scoliosis curve in her back, to try to align her body to the weapon. Her right elbow is resting against the wall, probably to try to counter being off balance. All four fingers of her right hand are inside the loop on the cocking lever. She also failed to make a proper weld to the stock with her cheek, and it appears that she is trying to align the rifle to her left eye while holding the rifle as a right-handed shooter.

It normally connects to the chain that keeps carnival shooting range guns from going missing or to be spun around and used against the crowd ?
Just a hint to Maddow - if you shoot around the little star instead of at it, you can usually punch it out of the paper and win a prize. You only have about 100 BBs to do it, so be as efficient as you can.
