Having to pay 2% towards their own retirement is why we had the entire Wisconsin bullshitapalooza.
The Obama administration on Friday threatened to veto a defense appropriations bill in part because it does not include higher health care fees for members of the military.
“The Administration is disappointed that the Congress did not incorporate the requested TRICARE fee initiatives into either the appropriation or authorization legislation,†the White House wrote in an official policy statement expressing opposition to the bill, which the House approved in May.
President Obama’s most recent budget proposal includes billions of dollars in higher fees for members of TRICARE, the military health care system, and is part of the administration’s plan to cut nearly $500 billion from the Pentagon’s budget.

As we used to say in the Cav. Shot at & missed - shit at & hit.

So a bunch of freeloaders should be given everything for free, yet the people putting their lives on the line literally for our country get to pay more. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
if 0bama doesn't lose in November it won't matter who wins in 2016 because there won't be any remnants of the Old Republic left. :banghead:

I can't really rag on the Cav, since me own flesh and blood was in 3rd ACR in Iraq, and I was a Screaming Eagle myself at a time when it was really the only Air Cav left (1st Cav had gone back to being more mech than air in the post-Viet Nam Cold War bygone days of almost 30 years ago). However, the normal DAT comeback to 'If you ain't Cav, you ain't s___' was to say 'So if you ARE Cav, you ARE s___?!? Works for me!'
:-)

That's right Obama, brag to every moonbat group that will pay to have you that you won on Obamacare while you veto the defense appropriation bill because you want military members to pay more for healthcare.
Excellent.

Smart dude, he wern't gonna get much of the military vote anyway. Most of us realize voting for him would be a violation of the oath we took.

In RVN Saber was 1/9 Cav. Actually it was Flashing Saber but nobody ever used the flashing part (sounded kinda gay to us).

Yeah, I think Tiger was 1st Squadron. Can't remember what 3rd Squadron's FCS was. I know that Support Squadron was Muleskinner.

It may be used on the ground side, I never heard it on the air side.
The 5/17th motto was Out Front.

1/9 was Air Cav in RVN (actually the first "air" cav unit). Out Front sounds suspiciously like the "official" motto and I was referring to our unofficial one. For the life of me, I can't remember 1/9's official motto.
