Logic Question

What do you call a situation when you come to a conclusion that ignores all contradictory evidence? In other words, the conclusion doesn't match the evidence? I can't think of the term.

Please help me.

Liberalism is the answer to that question. A good current example is, how the left is pushing the meme that Bush started fast and furious and the heroic Eric Holder who didn't know anything about it, stepped in and stopped it. Not to mention that the f&f program started in 2009. In 2009 Chimpy was at home in Texas chillin in da crib.

I find it humorous and ironic that at the message board that is world famous for its hypocrisy there is a poster with the username no-hypocrisy.

I'm not sure about "when", but I do know "where".

"If you have it and you know you have it, then you have it. If you have it and don't know you have it, you don't have it. If you don't have it but you think you have it, then you have it." - Jackie Gleason (1916-1987).

I believe the word you're looking for is "Obamanomics."

"No spin zone" would be better.

Global warming. The fact they need to keep calling it different things and redefining it says much.

Beat me to it!

Communism/socialism/progressivism/big government never has worked and has only produced misery and hundreds of millions dead but people still think it can work. Same goes for hating capitalism.

Without looking at the thread, I think the term he/she/it is looking for is "non sequteur" (spelling be damned)
