god, what stupid "lock-step" mind set. Repukes are all predictable. They are calling Pres. Obama
names incorporating Richard Nixon
I have seen it on 4 different types of blogs
Wonder if their god Rushy thought it up, you know he is so cute with the nicknames
http://www.democraticunderground.com/1002847461
Yeah Rush sends us all our thoughts in an email briefing every morning at 0700 hours. He send it so early because we all know the DUmmies never get up before noon.

3. I have seen Barack Milhouse and Richard Hussein
so stupid
Yeah not nearly as clever as Chimpy McCokespoon, but hey we tried.

2. They really ARE desperate, aren't they?
Some really bad stuff is coming out on Bain when Mitt was minding the store there. An article in today's NYT and all the other stuff I've been reading here on DU.
It's looking like Grimsville for the pukes...
:whatever:

6. they wait for their marching orders for the day
usually between 11-2
I find it hilarious her saying how lockstep we are and how we need marching orders, I think what it is since DU is like that they think everyone else must be.

10. they do this. work at a team - rightwing radio, bloggers, campaign people.
they get their marching orders for the week and follow them.
And don't forget all the dog whistles we use too. :rotf:
They are really good at projection.

That must be why, whenever I look at Skin's island, I *never* see any threads about those points Madcow or Maher or Schultz or Tweety or O'Donnell or Keef made the night before and that every primitive has adopted as the official talking point(s).
Oh..... hold on....
You're too stupid for words, pammy.

Ain't that the truth.
<<has never heard Rush Limbaugh; can't.
<<has no idea where gets "marching orders" from, other than from inside self.
I wish Pamela would've given credit where credit's due, to franksolich for "Barack Milhous."

Well in a way she did, the DUmp has claimed several times that you are the brain of this site and all of us do your bidding. So in a round about way she is claiming that you gave us our marching orders. :-)
-
By the way, I use "Barack Milhous" because I don't want to sully the name of Richard Nixon, and using his middle name, rather than his first name or last name, connected with the current president, does the job.
Nixon did some bad things, but he did even more good things.
This one, well, he's done a lot of bad things, and I'm hard-pressed to find out what he's done that's good.

Hey Pam,
Sing along with us: (sung to the tune "It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas.")
:II: It's beginning to look a lot like Nixon, everywhere you goooooo. :II:

I read a book years ago, I forget the author and title, anyway the author was not a Nixon fan by any stretch of the imagination, however he was interested in the truth. He pointed out how Nixon was not any worse than some of his predecessors, he just got caught. JFK and LBJ did a lot of the same things, like using the IRS to go after enemies and things like that.
Flash forward to today and just in the past 2 weeks, 0bama has done enough to make Nixon look like George Washington in comparison. I heard 0bama saying that if congress would pass the DREAM act he would sign it, I was thinking he has that backwards, congress is supposed to pass the bill before he signs it into law. This goes along with Nancy Pelosi saying we have to pass the bill to see what's in it. The democrats are doing everything backwards and they call us the fascists.
-
Pam? Darling? If anything, Republicans should be the one pissed by the comparison. For all the shit Nixon pulled, nobody died during Watergate, and there were reporters then who gave a shit enough to bother to uncover the truth and not try to bury the whole thing.
Cause ya know, truth might end up making him look bad and they have to get him reelected dontcha know.
BTW...did you ever pull that Glock out of the cat's paws yet?
-
Pam is mad that we are comparing 0bama to Nixon.
I'm ticked about it too, Nixon was an awesome President, how dare anyone compare Obama to him.

But according to the DUpes, KKKarl Rove wrote a letter to Frank, and told him to post these things. Has nothing to do with actual fact, DUmmies. Press on.
EDIT: 4600. :-)

My last check from Rove was post dated. What is this crap?

She must have been reading the DUmmie FUnnies. In my DUFU on Thursday
DUmmie FUnnies 06-21-12 (Vast and Nefarious: The conspiracy to take down Our President) (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/2897898/posts)
I posted these photos:

and I wrote:
[Good for President Nixon Obama for stonewalling them!]
[Good for Tricky Barack! Our President is not a crook!]
I knew that would get their goat.
(BTW, my first vote was for President Nixon, but I made the comparison because I knew it would get to them.)

Fess up, was it Rush or Rove that told you to do it?

And I did not get the idea from Rush or Drudge. When you've got an administration withholding documents from Congress and the President invoking executive privilege, the comparisons to the Left's most hated President (yes, even more than W) are obvious.
-

In the past 40+ years how many Republican Presidents have impeached or faced criminal charges and not the DU made up fantasy kind? ANd how many Democratic Presidents have faced impeachment or criminal chrages? Same for Congressmen and Senators?
-
Now I'm confused. I thought coach was supposed to be the one telling us what to do and think. Now it's Rush?
-
A bad comparison; no one died due to Watergate.
-
Just a real quick note to anyone with the time to do a little research at the DUmp. I have seen threads (long threads) where they actual venerate RMN an excoriate JFK. Tricky Dick gave the liberals far more than LBJ or JFK. So I can see why they would blanch at his being compared to Obie Wun. They got squat diddlely from him. :rotf:

It's not you, it's your location.
There are some places in WV where the sun doesn't hit the ground until 11:00am. I know, I've been there. :-)
OTOH, Barack Milhous Obama does have a certain "ring" to it, like the sound of DUmmies' panties being twisted into knots! :-)

The central legal issue of Watergate was "obstruction of justice."
The primitives, with their really weird grasp of history and reality, might think Watergate was a whole lot of other things, but the stark fact remains that it was "obstruction of justice," which is a high crime and an impeachable offense.
Since Nixon, both William Clinton and Barack Milhous have, obviously, obstructed justice, the first in lying to a grand jury, the current instance trying to cover up an illegal act via the attorney general.
The law is meant to be impartially applied. However, this being an imperfect world, factors such as "who did it" and "who's running things at the time" (Nixon had a 60+% Democrat Congress and of course a left-wing Supreme Court) and "popular sentiment" about whether or not something's "important" at the time to the general public, influence whether or not the law is applied.
And so the law isn't applied impartially.
In a perfect world, both Clinton and Barack Milhous would've met the same fate as Nixon.

When you have the media in your corner, like Clinton and 0bama, then you can pretty much do whatever you want. For the most part the media, other than faux and talk radio, hasn't touched f&f with a ten foot pole, only after Barry claimed EP did it become a major issue for the media, and they are doing their best to provide cover for that.
-
It's a totally unfair comparison, Nixon was actually a highly-competent foreign policy President. So, the comparison is grossly unfair to Nixon.
-

Correct; Nixon was an excellent foreign policy president.
One of the issues of Time magazine shortly after his resignation in August 1974 pointed out that the Soviets, the Red Chinese, the Romanians, and other socialist leaders, looked in wonderment at the American public, shaking their heads in puzzlement over that Nixon had been disgraced. As far as they were concerned, he was the most formidable foreign policy president since.....since, well, 1776.
There is no comparison between Richard Nixon and Barack Milhous excepting on this one point, obstruction of justice. By calling Barack Milhous "Barack Milhous," I'm making any a very slight comparison between the two, any more than that Barack Milhous and franksolich are similar in that we both have five fingers each on both hands.

And the contrary for Nixon, when it comes to the media.
It all depends upon (a) who did it (and the media despised Nixon), (b) who was in control of things (and the media loved the Democrats in Congress), and (c) popular sentiment (the public being led by its nose by the media).
As you mentioned, Roosevelt, Kennedy, Carter, Clinton, and Barack Milhous got away with things (because the media adored, or adores, them), that Eisenhower, Johnson, Ford, Reagan, the first Bush, and the second Bush would've been lynched for, if they'd done the same things.
The internet's changing things, but not fast enough for me.

:-)
False analogy, sir. You know I consider you the greater wit, but on this I must differ.
John Mitchell resigned as attorney general in 1971, long before Watergate, to take over Nixon's re-election campaign.
He and Nixon, who'd once been very close friends, had some sort of private falling-out after Nixon became president in 1969, and Nixon didn't care for him being attorney general.
Because of old ties and to make it look good, Mitchell was put in charge of the re-election campaign, but was just a figurehead; he didn't know shit about what was going on.
But being an honorable man, and loyal to old once-friends, he took one for the team.
-
You are right on the facts, however Mitchell's name is inseparably linked with the 'Imperial Presidency' in such of the popular imagination as still survives the ravages of age and pop culture. I don't have any insight on the falling out, being just a college student at the time, but Mitchell's lunatic wife and her constant explosions in the press may have had something to do with that.

Actually, not so. Jirack, Carbama, Ommy. I rest my case although, Obter has a ring to it.
