Title: Obama's grandfather tortured by the British? A fantasy
Post by: bijou on June 20, 2012, 08:12:07 AM
A new biography of Barack Obama has established that his grandfather was not, as is related in the President’s own memoir, detained by the British in Kenya and found that claims that he was tortured were a fabrication.

'Barack Obama: The Story' by David Maraniss catalogues dozens of instances in which Obama deviated significantly from the truth in his book 'Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance'. The 641-page book punctures the carefully-crafted narrative of Obama’s life.

One of the enduring myths of Obama’s ancestry is that his paternal grandfather Hussein Onyango Obama, who served as a cook in the British Army, was imprisoned in 1949 by the British for helping the anti-colonial Mau Mau rebels and held for several months.

Obama’s step-grandmother Sarah, Onyango wife, who is still living, is quoted in the future President’s memoir, as saying: ‘One day, the white man’s askaris came to take Onyango away, and he was placed in a detention camp.

‘But he had been in the camp for over six months, and when he returned to Alego he was very thin and dirty. He had difficulty walking, and his head was full of lice. He was so ashamed, he refused to enter his house or tell us what happened.’

In a 2008 interview, Sarah Obama claimed that he was ‘whipped every morning and evening’ by the British. ‘They would sometimes squeeze his testicles with metal rods. They also pierced his nails and buttocks with a sharp pin, with his hands and legs tied together. He was lucky to survive. Some of his fellow inmates were mutilated with castration pliers and beaten to death with clubs.’

But Maraniss, who researched Obama’s life in Kenya, Indonesia, Hawaii and the mainland United States, found that there were ‘no remaining records of any detention, imprisonment, or trial of Hussein Onyango Obama’. He interviewed five people who knew Obama’s grandfather, who died in 1979, who ‘doubted the story or were certain it did not happen’.

Interesting to note that the Mail Online, indeed many of Europe's press, is taking such a negative view of Barry.

Also interesting to note the many fabrications, lies, and inventions in Barry's book - even though the book is considered a "memoir" and isn't autobiographical.

Who else but a complete narcissist and liar would take the time and trouble to create characters and images that aren't factual? Even an autobiography should talk about the challenges and even dirty laundry that everyone experiences in their lives.

Barry's book goes a long way in explaining that it was written as a vehicle for political office and was NOT written for any sort of acknowledgement of his father.

Once a liar, always a liar.

It's looking more and more like his books were just the basis for him becoming a Manchurian moonbat president.

Correct our president is Barry Soetoro and his birth certificate should show that.   Adoption means files closed and very difficult to get the origional.

His birth certificates should show his mother and father were married and named Soetoro ,  all else, is taken from the original birth certificate, even if the adopting parents had not even met for years after the birth, the certificate will show that the adopted was born to them in a time and date that is impossible.

The Birth certificate  of Barry Soetoro should still show where he was born, this cannot be changed, nor  Where does Barry's parents put their address when when he was born ??? the time date of birth or time.  Only thing changed is the name of the parents.

Any of us that are adopted or have adopted a child know this, ------Where is the birth certificate of Barry Soetoro and what does this say.???????

Leading up to the 2008 election and about a year after the election that paper and it's UK posters only praised Obama and Michelle.  They were all over anyone that said a bad thing about them. Now go read the comments.  No one  says a good thing about them and these posters are the same one's from 2008.  You can see their history.  It's amazing to see the change and it wasn't subtle, it was all of a sudden.

However, the grandfather did have a cop jump out of the bushes to accost him because the grandfather had the distinctive high cheeckbones of a Cherokee.

I've wondered that.  I swear I've seen the bastard's nose twitch  and those big ears of his pivot like radar dishes on top of his head whenever he gives a speech.

Maybe we can get Ptarmy and his cell "Committee of Concerned Ptarmigans" to look into it.

Well . . . He gave Queen Elizabeth II an iPod of his speeches, thus exhibiting extreme narcississm; he sided with the Argintinians against the British where the Falkland Islands are concerned; "Hope and change" has blamed the Europeans for the economic woes in the USA; and the list goes on.  Anything else?  He has shit on the British at almost every opportunity.
