Did anyone else watch this show? It was only on for one season, but now it's on Netflix.
The original UK version is okay... I just can't get into it, but at least it doesn't try to do really bad one liners and the wink-to-the-camera jokes that the ABC version did. If you have Amazon Prime, you can watch the original series (both seasons) for free.

I don't know who thought Lisa Bonet was any kind of actress, but they should be kicked in the crotch every time she shows up on a TV or movie screen.
The US version has one thing going for it... Gretchen Mol. That girl in the BBC's version sounds like an annoying twirpy bird.

We watched the British version, but couldn't get into watching the Americanized version. BBC also had a second follow up series called Ashes to Ashes. (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1008108/)

I have that damn David Bowie song stuck in my head.
I don't know what it is about the English version that I can't get in to. I think it's the foppish accents and that ridiculous bird-woman. 'Ashes to Ashes' looked really dumb when I checked it out on YouTube. I can't relate to Ford Cortinas and council estates, although I wouldn't mind having that brown GXE.

I liked that show when it came out.
