Kerry to double as Romney in debate prep

President Obama has tapped U.S. Sen. John Kerry to play the role of Mitt Romney in mock debate rehearsals, giving the president a onetime presidential candidate to prep against in his fight for re-election to the White House, the Herald has learned.

Kerry will be expected to mirror Romney’s expected answers and mannerisms as President Obama prepares for a series of fall debates against the former Bay State governor.

Obama and Romney are slated to debate Oct. 3, at the University of Denver; Oct. 15, at Hofstra University on Long Island; and Oct. 22 at Lynn University in Baco Raton, Fla., according to the Commission on Presidential Debates, which organizes the showdowns.

Both Kerry and Obama have the same faults, i.e. neither one of them can ad-lib a clear, concise, intelligible answer to anything they don't have pre-loaded.  Kerry's submissiveness as a still-ambitious Democrat machine part isn't going to help this process, either.  It seems to me that this will just be doubling down on a weakness.

Good.

This brings to mind another question: when is the last time that a Democrat nominated someone with significant experience outside of government (lawyer doesn't count)?  Was it the Peanut Farmer?

I ran this by my wife and she gave me a weird look and hasn't spoken to me for about three hours.  I'm interested in your opinion.  I think Romney should use Don Rickles for his debate sparing partner.  After handling Rickles, Mitt could handle ABM with ease.  Now here's the good part, Don should wear blackface for the faux debates with plenty of pictures for the press.  Watcha think huh...huh

I drove through Fox Chapel, here in Pittsburgh, this weekend and went past John Kerry's house, well, one of his house's (His wife is the widow of Senator H. John Heinz III (Who was a republican) (I am sure you all know who the Heinz's are - which is also where John Kerry got most of his money)) - I wanted to egg it.
