Title: Adjusting the gas...

A friend gives a gas driller an attitude adjustment...
A friend of mine, whom I've known since I was a child and who still lives in the town in PA in which I grew up (an area that is Ground Zero for the Marcellus shale fracking that is going on) posted this on Facebook yesterday:

Just had an interesting experience while getting gas at Sheetz.....One of our inbred "drillinators" pulled up behind an elderly lady beside me ane started screaming obcenities at her for "taking HIS place in line"! Well, the Scot-Irish in me boiled over and I went and confronted the young man. He mouthed off to me and I noticed he didn't have his seatbelt on, so I simply pulled him out of his truck, and needless to say, this old fart has bloody knuckles and knees! A small crowd developed, and someone asked if I wanted him to call 911. For whatever reason I asked the young lad (from Texas....nothing against Texans), who had, by then, blood about his mouth and nose, if HE wanted anyone to call 911. At that point he stood up, brushed himself off, and said "no" then proceeded to apologize to me and the elderly woman, and the people around him for his actions in a very gentlemanly manner. Apparently his momma did something right!

LOL! Love it!

Tough guy goodness here! (http://www.democraticunderground.com/1002794047)

FIrst of all...bullshit.  I've worked in the "patch" on a frac crew and they are some of the toughest, strongest, quick to fight  guys I've ever met.  Sledgehammers and 4" pipes don't make you a pushover for some "old fart" at the gas pump.

I'm sure the frac crews will now just pull up stakes and head home...right DUmmie?

Geez...the bouncies aren't even mildly entertaining anymore.

2. No, he isn't --

He is someone who abhors violence. It just happens that he abhors disrespect even more.

 :whatever:

4. I should add...

... that there is a bit of a back story to this. Seems there have been a LOT of tensions between the frackers and the folks who happen to live in the area the frackers are destroying.

More like the frackers are tired of moonbats bugging them while they are trying to do an honest day's work.

No balls at all when you claim your bouncy is a second-hand story.

This would have been a decent tale if DUmpmonkey markpkessinger had claimed he was the protagonist.

DAMN IT!

Why are my gas stations so freaking boring?  I want to see fights when I have to pay $60+ for a tank of gas.  Am I wrong to expect a show?

Ooh, nice twist!

I'm going to go ahead and award ZERO bongs to the markpissk-something-or-another primitive, and award Skul THREE bongs for his creativeness!

14. Posts like this raise a red flag for me...

They just make the needle on my BS meter wiggle a little, ya know? Not questioning your veracity here because after all, this was posted on Facebook. But whoever wrote it definitely left some things open to question. To wit:

How did this self-proclaimed "old fart" know the rude person was an "inbred drillinator"?

Is this self-proclaimed "old fart" in the habit of approaching young men he finds rude and getting agressive with them to the point of INITIATING a physical confrontation? Pretty dumb thing to do in the current environment, don't you think?

How did he know the young man was from Texas?

So this self-proclaimed "old fart" not only bloodied his mouth and nose, but knocked him on his ass ("at that point he stood up, brushed himself off") as well? That's a pretty tough "old fart".

Lastly, I surely would have called 911 and reported an assault had I been there. I would have waited until authorities arrived and pointed out the "old fart" who pulled a young man out of his truck and assaulted him without provocation.

been shot dead on the spot.

Pulling people out of cars is really, really, dumb.

24. First of all, I call bullshit

I live in western PA, ground zero for Marcellus shale fracking, and this would have certainly made the news if it had actually happened. But not a peep about it so far, unless you can provide a link. So... Bullshit.

Second, even if it's true, it proves only that your friend is a dangerous asshole who should be locked up. Bad enough that he claims to have assaulted someone without real provocation; he actually seems to derive pleasure from it.

You should pick friends who know how to behave like human beings.

Mind you, I'm not accusing you of lying; I'm confident that you're faithfully relating a story that you read. I'm calling your friend a liar.

I'm an old fart. I go round pulling people out of the cars and whipping their asses all the time.....it keeps me young.    :whatever:

Around here that kind of thing would definitely stop the aging process.

A most excellent demonstration of the liberal induced decline in public education.
