Title: Did Ron Paul concede to Romney?
Post by: rich_t on June 08, 2012, 05:39:00 PM
Quote
Congressman Paul confirms that fact in his next sentence, “And while this total is not enough to win the nomination, it puts us in a tremendous position to grow our movement and shape the future of the GOP!” With a Republican Presidential nomination out of reach now, Ron Paul laid out his movement’s new goals – grow the movement and shape the party.

It doesn't matter if he conceded. The Paulites will just write him in, and ruin any chance we have of kicking Obama out. The jerk.

I'm sure he did hence Rand Paul coming out to endorse Romney, and I fully expect Ron Paul will campaign for and encourage his kook supporters to vote for Romney, and I'll go so far as to say Ron Paul will be strong-armed by the GOP to endorse Romney, you want your son Rand to get some nice committee assignments? tell your kooks to vote for Romney then.

I refuse to let you pessimists get to me, I'm on a high now with Walker, and the GOP is going to kick the Democrats butts in Nov. The Paulbots don't have as much power as they delude themselves into thinking.

I will believe Ron Paul supporting Romney when I see it.

I am on a high also. And I am praying that the Republicans kick the hell out of Obama in November. As long as Ron Paul is still around, the chances are diminished.

Ron Paul has basically suspended his campaign, no way would his son endorse Romney if there was a chance Ron Paul was staying in the campaign.

Yes, Ran Paul did endorse Romney, (I started a thread about it last night), but him endorsing Romney isn't going to change all the Ron Paul supporters minds. They will still write him in. And every vote for him, is one less for Romney. Romney needs all the votes he can get. You can say that it also takes a vote away from Obama, but with all the corruption and fraud that is going to go on, he will gain more than he loses.

Believe me, I want nothing more than Romney to win. But I am trying to be logical here. And the Ron Paul supporters are going to hurt things more than they are going to help.

Ron Paul supporters are leftist anti-war, anti-Israel liberals.   Should they write in Dr. No's name then the only vote taken away is one for the messiah.

In my view, their primary motivating factor.  If he doesn't run on independent/libertarian ticket, they just won't vote.

I said that you can also say that it is a vote taken away from Obama as well. But it is also a vote taken away from Romney because he isn't getting it. Basically, what I am trying to say is that I want all the votes to go to Romney. I guess it is just too confusing for me.

I know it is Rand, Obumazombie. My buttons on my keyboard are sticking a little bit. I still haven't taken this laptop apart to clean them. I am kind of afraid to. Thanks for the heads up, Hi5. :-)

libertarians are not anti-Israel. They are simply against military help to any foreign nation

Every last Paul-tard out there is a bigot. If you don't believe me, just visit any Paul-tard website and look into the foreign policy forum. Your endorsement of fascism reminds me of Paul's personal thugs.

When any person or group opposes a popular or correct policy, they can easily come up with a seemingly palatable reason for their opposition.

A good friend of mine that I served with 20 years ago is a Paulbot.  He swears he'll write Paul's name in. Has met the Dr a few times and is convinced Ron is the only hope...Sad really.
