Omerta... and keeping secrets

Here is part of the problem... quick, how many of you knew who ALEC was?

Well, they are very well publicized now, but they are not the only ones. I am betting your town has the equivalent set of closed rooms where business is done, away from the public. And some in your local media even know who they are. I mean the SOME part, they had so well that they are not well known, and this is on purpose. And for the most part, people will mention them, but that's about it. Research takes time.

So next time you see a story mentioning your local chamber, or your local republican or democratic club, look them up on line. You are in for some sweet surprises and some not so sweet.

Ah research will start soon on one of our local clubs, and just how powerful they are. I am tired of the Omerta law.

Her DU audience is as sick of her gibberish as we are.

1. What?

If there is a point to this point I think I missed it.
I'm sure it's a very very important OP, I just can't figure it out!

5. Yup... and here is the really bad part

I have covered my local boards. Usually those stories get very little traffic... now a missing dog story... or better yet, a missing dog story involving some abuse and a permanent home for pooch... off the freaking charts.

I gave up trying to get that a while ago.

Not that pooches are not important, but the stories that really will not matter to your life, but pull at heart strings, tend to get a lot of traffic. The really boring, watch paint dry, process stories, that will affect your life... frustrating at times.

It sounds to me she's just described city halls and state capitols in blue places.

Huh?  She starts out talking about the code of Omerta, which went out the window when the feds started threatening guys with life sentences under the RICO act.  Then she races off to seemingly upset that some of the local businessmen and perhaps politicians may have worked out an agreement over lunch in the reserved section of a local restaraunt.

How do they do business in your preferred country, Nadin?  Last I checked, businessmen and politiian make deals over meals down there, too.  Granted, it is usually an offer that can't be refused.

I wonder who her ghost writer is.

I've seen a couple of this "intrepid reporters" stories and they seem legible but when she posts for the DUmbasses they can only be classified as...oh what's the term...Oh! "word salad".

Also, the stories I've seen, the photos were taken by Tom.

So, besides being the "universal expert" what does she do?

Nads is in fine form.  Notice the aggresive response from Cali.  I have great hopes for this rivalry.  My father and grandfather used to tell me about the Crash at Crush.  When Nads and Cali collide, I hope it rivals that great wreck.

Anyone who missed Nads great post in the photography forum should go over and check this breathless account of her combat assignment covering the drunken republican victory celebration at their plush hotel headquarters.  Hubby did combat photography and Nads has been under fire too. I loved the description of Tom and Nads huddled in their hotel room bunker going over photos.

Nutcase nadin is gradually picking up steam for a 2H12 rally for a repeat DOTY.

She has no challengers. Even poor addled grasswipe Judy Smith, who I thought could develop into a contender, has evaporated.

You don't think sabrina and sarahibuprofen are good contenders?

Neither of them is putting out enough volume.

Imaboobi is as scarce as grasswipe.

Nadin is still sparing in her posts, but each one is a beauty.

I expect her to be hitting her stride by late summer.

Pedro Picasso is in the lead right now. :mental:
His constant squealing is reminiscent of major amp feedback at a large stadium.
He's making an early sprint for DODY, but, will soon tire.
Nads paces herself, and makes the sprint late in the game.
Every now and then, she makes a short push forward, just enough to worry the front runners into running harder.
She then falls back into the pack, quietly waiting....forging forward at half a lap, she over runs the leaders to finish well ahead.
Her latest, is just a little push to spur the unwitting, and they took off in panic.
Go Nads  Go Nads

"Nadin" and "confusing" are synonyms.

I didn't really bother to read the post but as soon as I saw ALEC, I just learned yesterday anybody can join ALEC. When I have time and some spare cash I am going to look into it.  Who doesn't want to be a living boogey man?

I think that she is a North Korean operative and this is her way of messages to her handlers... crazy like a moonbat.
