Another 'Whack Job' (she) who Really, Really doesn't want to take on Dershowitz!(http://i48.tinypic.com/icjlo7.jpg)
He's a Lib .. fer shur 'but' a D@mn tough Constitutional attorney!(http://i39.tinypic.com/i56q90.jpg)
State Attorney Angela Corey, the prosecutor in the George Zimmerman case, recently called the Dean of Harvard Law School to complain about my criticism of some of her actions.
She was transferred to the Office of Communications and proceeded to engage in a 40-minute rant, during which she threatened to sue Harvard Law School, to try to get me disciplined by the Bar Association and to file charges against me for libel and slander. (http://i52.tinypic.com/70yjxi.jpg)
She said that because I work for Harvard and am identified as a professor she had the right to sue Harvard. (http://i56.tinypic.com/r0ysk4.jpg)
When the communications official explained to her that I have a right to express my opinion as “a matter of academic freedom,†and that Harvard has no control over what I say, she did not seem to understand.
She persisted in her nonstop whining,(http://i39.tinypic.com/34po1z5.jpg) claiming that she is prohibited from responding to my attacks by the rules of professional responsibility — without mentioning that she has repeatedly held her own press conferences and made public statements throughout her career.
Her beef was that I criticized her for filing a misleading affidavit that willfully omitted all information about the injuries Zimmerman had sustained during the “struggle†it described. She denied that she had any obligation to include in the affidavit truthful material that was favorable to the defense.
She insisted that she is entitled to submit what, in effect, were half truths in an affidavit of probable cause, so long as she subsequently provides the defense with exculpatory evidence.

Wow - she is unhinged.

SO......it's that time of the month again in Florida, huh?
Just wait until next month.... :whistling:

I wonder . . . if Angela Corey continues with this line of attack, might she find herself glimpsing Alan Dershowitz in the defense counsel's chair--pro bono? I realize that Zimmerman would have to square with the court for the last escapade, but if Dershowitz were to say those magic words to me ("I'll defend you, pro bono."), if I were in the same situation, I'd be taking him up on it yesterday.
Alan Dershowitz has an ego, too, and he could do wonders for it if he were to do this.

I LOVE this -----> (http://i56.tinypic.com/r0ysk4.jpg)

It's also on the post form. Don't use the +'s.

I hope Angela didn't make that harassing call during worktime. That might very well be actionable.

Since she admitted that she got an indictment by deliberately omitting material information, seems like the defense could have ample grounds to have this appealed and thrown out on a technicality if (or when, unfortunately) he's convicted.
Am I wrong?

How do people like Angela make it through law school ? I thought you had to be logical, reasonable, rational, smart, and have good judgement. It's like she completed a mail in course of law.

I don't like Dershowitz for political reasons, but I'd happily sell popcorn in the gallery if she goes ahead and sues him. Talk about your basic battle of wits against an unarmed person... :rotf:
-
Dersh ought to turn the tables and file a professional responsibility complaint against her crazy ass.

She didn't get an indictment. She pulled it from the Grand Jury docket and proceeded under her authority as a special prosecutor.
-
She needs to be disbarred for intentionally filing an incomplete affidavit.

You all may remember Mizzzzzzzz Corey for the trainwreck, quasi-lottery-winning press conference she staged back in the early days of this entire travesty...

Do yourself a favor, and read the whole thing over at Ace's. (http://ace.mu.nu/archives/329931.php)
They really do seem to be destroying themselves far faster than our Darth Cheney, Black-people-hating, Democrat vote-killing machine appears capable of.
