Another report on Galveston........from Burnt Orange...1500 or more bodies
From Burnt Orange Report:
Okay...I've got some news on this front. Take it for what it's worth, but the guy I got it from is someone I trust to raise my children... He's never once lied to me...ever. And we're close.
He's in a pretty high-up supervisory position for a refinery down on the coast.
His refinery has some equipment and lines in and around Galveston county, and before they were to bring them back on line he and his crew had to inspect the place for damage and potential hazards. So they were given permission....after a background check....to helicopter in and inspect, which meant coming in over Galveston.
I kid you not when I say that he told me they saw AT LEAST 1500 bodies in trees scattered about Galveston. They also saw a lot in various ditches and marshes, esp. on the north side of East Galv. Bay, east side of Trinity Bay, and in the marshes between I-45 and Seabrook/Clear Lake/Deer Park.
It explains why they're not letting the media anywhere close to the Island except in limited sectors nd we're not hearing anything from or about the people who survived and those who stayed behind. It's like 20,000 people never
existed....where are they? Where'd they go? What are their names? Nothing....
Same thing in Orange county.
Take it for what it's worth....I believe him, though his count may be wrong given the shock of the sight. But like I said, I'd trust him to raise my kids.
I'd be more surprised if he were wrong than if he were right.

6. Yep
I'll believe it when I see some evidence. If someone can take a picture of Saddam Hussein getting hanged, then someone can sneak a picture of bodies in trees.
It's not that I'm not believing there wasn't more destruction than has been reported, but if it's 1500 bodies, there's got to be some photographic evidence somewhere.
These two question it.
Nadin chimes in, we only noticed her recently. :-)

8. Having worked on the front lines of disaster areas and knowing how it can be done
no, not really
But that's ok
As to urban legends of course.. you always see that... but we have people STILL MISSING from Katrina

10. Bullshit. And you should know better, too, than to promote this stuff.
There are people missing. This kind of thing helps no one.

11. Re-read what I wrote, or perhaps I will have to translate this for you
THERE ARE PEOPLE STILL MISSING FROM KATRINA
That is what I said.
So to discount this is nuts
And yes, if you want I will gladly 'splain HOW you can disappear bodies

17. To give credence to these horrible rumors is irresponsible
and you are better than that.

19. You know the fact that we have people still MISSING from Katrina
gives these rumors some validity
Seen how this is done in the flesh
Now 1500 perhaps not... but when all is said and done get used to this nice phrase
Missing, presumed dead
Or just plain out missing
Reality is in ANY disaster of this scope people do go missing
Now if recognizing THAT reality is irresponsible... so be it.
Guilty as charged
Plenty more at link. :lmao:

28. Ok I wanted to keep this private but this is way too important
so here a perspective of somebody who's been there, done that, as a disaster worker
They may very well be hiding something, but let's step away from that point for a minute
When disasters happen, especially this big, people at times are forced to move. They are forced to move FAST... and nobody really records where they went, or how. I know keeping track of people we moved during disasters was never easy... in fact it was one of the hardest things to do .
Now I don't discount that some folks are dead and missing and some will be found in the weeks, even years to come... but the folks passing you the information are doing the classic thing.... I see 20 bodies at a disaster area, and I am trained, I once made the mistake of adding a zero... ooops It was easy, it was stress... thankfully did not send that over the air (that pesky training) and took two more minutes to eval my scene. So we got the personnel to handle twenty casualties, not 200... or my boss would have had my behind for lunch and dinner, rightfully so.
So what I am saying is that your friends may be combining reports (again another easy one to do, especially in the early phase of any disaster) or seeing more than they are seeing.
That said.... this guv'ment has a reason to hide a lot of the response and the little we have heard is ... worrisome, such as rice at distribution centers
You are not wrong... just that when all is said and done some folks will be missing... presumably dead... but if my experience is working... not as bad as 1500, not even 900... why I reminded Sfexpat above that we are still missing some folks from Katrina (and I don't buy the numbers for other reasons from that one)
If they are at those numbers and are trying to really hide something.... then my tin foil hat is turning towards the L-4 biolab... and something really pesky escaping. And we should all hope this is not it.
Solid gold from nadin.

Solid gold from nadin.
It's mind boggling how we didn't discover her until recently. Perhaps it was due to the OP being so batshit crazy. :-)
-
Th1onein, not lonestarnut, reported the trees festooned with bodies.
My mistake.
But lonestarnut is even more a lunatic than Th1onein.

Blah blah blah . . .
I see 20 bodies at a disaster area, and I am trained
The only acceptable, for me, "training" for nadin would occur inside a cage, and the "training" would be with a bullwhip ahnd a chair.

Someone add disaster relief expert to Nadin's resume.
-
I don't recall the exact number, but, something like 50 or 60 deaths, comes to mind.
Western part of the eye passed over the house.
Tree branch fell and hit my fence. :bawl:

^5 anyway, as you have correctly classified lonestarnut as a complete and utter idiot.
