Title: I admit...I've been listening to Progressive Talk Radio more the past few weeks
Post by: GOP Congress on June 03, 2012, 12:00:48 AM
I've been listening with great interest to our local progressive radio station, KTLK Los Angeles, with more interest than even Rush or Sean as of late.

Before you wonder if I've suddenly turned into a DUmpmonkey, though...

It is the flagship station of the Los Angeles Kings. And we are two games from Lawd Stanley's Cup, bay- bee!!

"nuff said...

I'm sure the resident Canucklehead will be along shortly to straighten you out on that subject. :-)

You know me too well.  :-)

I just wish both teams could lose this year. Though if I must chose the lesser of two evils, I'll take the Queens.

I need a shower.

Seriously, though, I'd love to see what the Arbitron ratings have to say about the station. I would bet dollars to pesos that they get more people listen to KTLK during Kings games than they do cumulatively for every libtard talk show host on that station.

I don't care about the Stanley Cup since The Penguins, or Bruins aren't in it.

I make the drive to Phoenix once a year. I'm able to find/listen to conservative radio the entire way...

EXCEPT when I'm near Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Its all Moon-Bat, all the time. Its DU crazy talk, and there is NO conservative alternative.
A few hours of that station and I'm done for another year.

Here is what I listen to: http://www.wpgb.com/main.html < - It is out of Pittsburgh here. They have Beck, Rush, Hannity, and Savage. You can listen to it online, if that is what you are looking for.

I have to admit...

In all the time I've listened to Kings games on LA Progressive Talk KTLK, I have not heard one promotion for any...ANY!...of KTLK's hosts. Not one Stephanie Miller promo. Ditto Ed Schultz, ditto Randi Rhodes. Not one self promotion.

When the Dodgers were on KABC last year, I heard TONS of promos for their hosts, including Sean Hannity and Mark Levin (Rush is on KFI).

This is very telling...Kings fans do NOT want to listen to the $#:! that the hosts spew out on their shows.

Oh! I'm a Ranger fan but I don't hate the Devils. I don't have a dog in this fight so I won't be unhappy if either team wins, but I'm a HUGE Darryl Sutter fan, been a fan of his since he played for Chicago, and he totally deserves to have his name on The Stanley Cup, so I guess I'm kind of rooting for the Kings.

I'd say overwhelmingly Hockey fans are conservative.

Poor Darryl Sutter, he was 1 win away from the cup in 2004, because of a controversial call the Flames lost that game and went on to lose the Cup in Game 7.

Well, that's another 6 hours we can keep the mikes out of the mouths of the incompetents...besides, the Kings haven't lost on the road yet, so I expect this to be over Saturday.

It would've been nice to have them win their 1st ever cup at home though.
