Anyone familiar with this event know it's held annually, and ostensibly it's a 5k race, and a fund raising event. But mostly it's not taken seriously and is more famous for the costumes and getups worn by the vast majority of the participants. I used to live in Marina Ca. and had many pleasant trips to San Fran while I lived there. The homo's then were far less militant than they are now.
The reason for the backstory is emphasis being put on 5k. My first 5,000 posts.
I only post 44 a day on average.
I have only been ignored by 3 members, although one dis-ignored me so now it's down to 2.
I have only been accused of being a mole by 2 members.
I have developed some well earned affection for several of the members, and respect all the rest, with few exceptions.
I have threatened to start several topics, but only 2 of those repeatedly. "My list of banned words" and "Everything I know about weight loss".
I have for the most part tried to add a spoonfull of sugar and good entertainment value on every post.
Criticism is welcome, but only if I welcome it, for the purpose of editing my next 5k posts.
