Dear Fathers and Daughters, Once again, we extend a warm invitation to our 9th Annual Father Daughter Purity Ball as we celebrate the beauty of our daughters and the glory of their fathers. The ball will be held at the Broadmoor Hotel Lake Terrace Ballroom Friday, May 16th 6:00pm to midnight.
Our evening will begin with the The Regal Daughters Ballet Company presenting beautiful worship dance. We will then enjoy a formal three-course dinner. Fathers will sign a covenant of protection and purity to influence generations to come.
The daughters silently commit to live pure lives before God through the symbol of laying down a white rose at the cross. One of the most memorable highlights of the ball is when the fathers stand in the middle of the ballroom and form a circle around their daughters standing all aglow in their lovely ball gowns. The fathers place their hands on their daughters, and together we pray for purity of mind, body, and soul for generations to come. The girls will then wear purity rings to remind them of their commitment.

I look at these things totally differently. My husband, by how he treat me and our daughter, is showing my daughter what a man is supposed to be like. He showing her to that a man respects and cares for the women in his life. It is my hope that my daughter compares every "man" in her dating life to the ideal set by her dad, and if he falls short, she throws him to the curb.

You know, someday my daddy will be gone. I'll be glad we spent time together all throughout my life. I'll cherish those memories even more once he's departed this earth. My own mother lost her father when she was only 35. He died suddenly and rather young at the age of 57. She'd give anything to have him back so she could hold his hand and give him a hug and kiss.

You know, my daughter was hardly pure as the driven snow, and sure didn't save it for marriage, but withal she was centered and knew what she was doing when she did it and made intelligent choices in her life decisions, ultimately marrying a guy who wanted a permanent, long-tem relationship relationship with her (and as luck would have it, a social conservative guy).
