Title: Questions about Medical Pot
Post by: vesta111 on May 19, 2012, 04:10:21 PM
We can use big time pain killers that are manufactured by pharmaceutical company's, these are the pain killers that are the most stolen and missused by the addicts.  lives are taken to gain access to these drugs.

We who need the drug for post operation pain take out lives in our own hands to get a Drugest prescription for 30 pills and leave the store and someone may know you have the pills worth $60.00 each on the street. Have to run for the car, lock the doors and get the hell out of there.

Little tests have been done on Pot, who knows that a bit of it may not do the same as the Pharmaceutical prescription.????  Or but tests may have been done to show a simple plant can do more then their multi million dollar drug.

I am changing my mind on pot, little by little I am beginning to wonder about the MONEY and the  reasons that people cannot grow and use for any reason a natural plant.      Do we find the leaves of the Dandylion helps Arthritics,  do the Pharmacy Company's now make that illegal ??

The drought that has turned parts of our country into a waste land, the farmers can plant Hemp there that will renew the land but the Cotton and other industry's fear a product that can last 100 years or more.

Interesting world we have, I am wondering why all the money is spent to close down a 2 acre field of Pot plants while 15 tons of the same thing is still coming across our borders.

Money, Money makes the world go around,   We are so lucky that Aspirin was not not regulated by the Government or big pharmaceutical company's in the past.

March on to make booze and tobacco illegal, march on to make a natural growing plant illegal, next thing you know some one will find a way to get high from smelling the roses.

Changinging my ideas here. I have smells that I inhale that that i enjoy===Gas and oil mixture in a boat moter,  and the smell of Pot from a field-------

Wow, I must be ****ed up because I almost understand Vesta's post. As far as marijuana, I have NO problem with people using it. I've used it in the past (the DISTANT past). I see little difference as compared to alcohol. Furthermore, when have you seen a pothead get aggressive? (Not unless you're hiding a burger or some other snack!! LMAO!!)  :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: Alcohol drinkers are more often aggressive and cause more problems. Honestly, I think we should legalize marijuana and treat it just as we do alcoholic beverages or tobacco products.

As far as being ripped off by druggies, recently, I had a temporary roommate. She stole a bottle of clonazepam. (Something I took for a few days and had adverse reactions to them) I'm certain that she sold them. I didn't discover this until recently and she left before the end of January. I'm sure that she sold them for the money, which would net at least $5/ each, maybe more, I dunno. There were at least 25 of them.

Vesta, keep an eye out for Codex Alimentarius. It's legislation to make most natural remedies illegal.

If cannabis or THC were FDA approved and regulated, I would have no problem with them being legal. They should be prescribed, and not for bogus reasons.

THC is already FDA approved & regulated. In many states, one can obtain pills with THC in them with a Dr's prescription. I really think that Big Pharma has a hand in pot's non-legalization and the Codex Alimentarius legislation being brought forward.

THC is available in pill form, and prescribed by doctors. It's the pot-heads that pushed for smoking legalized marijuana for medical purposes. They "claim" that the pills just aren't good enough to relieve their pain. The problem is that smoking a joint gives an almost instant high, but you have to wait a little while for the pill to be absorbed by the body.

I would suggest getting an armored truck to take you to the pharmacy or maybe find one with a drive up window.
Safety first!  :thatsright: :mental: Do you have the same issues going to the bank?
