Curious: How do you use DU?

I know some people like to check out specific forums, others may enjoy the Greatest page, etc. I tend to browse the Latest Threads 99.9% of the time, to see what's happening all over the site. There are interesting posts everywhere!

How about you? What's your preferred method to enjoy this fine site? (though I suppose if you avoid GD, you won't see this post)

1. Latest Threads is where I keep up with the news and then look at everything - starting with LBN since I like to keep up with the news, then go back up and read the latest threads, and try to peruse the latest discussions on specific topic that I like to go to.

I generally avoid controversial topics, but some topics I will jump to and read or discuss or offer my opinions.

I made a incorrect assumption about Iceland and stated as a fact - I was correctly humbled to admitting my error.

2. I've been correctly humbled more than a few times around here!

3. DU is my main news source.

I haven't watched network news in ages, and I come here to get the "Latest Threads". The other forums I spend time in is Astrology, Spirituality and Alternative Healing, Cooking and Baking, Humor, Pets, and Science.

At work, I usually have DU up, it's also my main page on my iPhone.

4. a lot of times I will see something elsewehere..news or whatever and then come over and search for it here to see what is being said.

Also, f5ing Latest Threads

Freeper and franksolich do that a lot too; whenever something's interesting in the news, we hurry to Skins's island to get the primitive angle on it.

6. Breaking News, General (when you can actually find news there) and Good Reads.

Good reads is overlooked, IMO.

7. Mostly Latest

With occasional posts. I rarely post new threads.

Forums I frequent include Religion (I am an atheist activist), Science, and occasionally Skepticism.

Has there ever been a case when you didn't already know what their angle would be?

Oh my, how productive this DUmmy must be.  Brings to mind the Bellevue Failure, who had to cut back his internet surfing while at work.
