Plagiarism in Elizabeth Warren’s 2006 Book
By Katrina Trinko
May 18, 2012 6:00 P.M.
In 2006, Elizabeth Warren and her daughter, Amelia Warren Tyagi, published a book, All Your Worth: The Ultimate Money Lifetime Plan. That book includes a passage that appears to include parts of two paragraphs directly lifted from a book published in 2005, Getting on the Money Track by Rob Black.

I think the Massachusetts DUmmies will need to be put on suicide watch along with the Wisconsinites.
The cheeky Cherokee may still have a future, it worked for Iron Eyes.

Update: Trinko reported that Warren’s book came out in 2006 and the book she allegedly plagiarized from came out in 2005. That’s true — of the paperback version of Warren’s book. According to Amazon, though, the hardcover came out on March 1, 2005 — seven months before the book she supposedly plagiarized from. Assuming those dates are right, it’s her writing that was lifted by someone else, not vice versa. Sorry to Warren and our readers for passing along apparently bad info, and good work by BuzzFeed’s Andrew Kaczynski to catch this.
Update: And here’s Trinko’s correction.

Looks like she may have been the victim of plagiarism, not the perpetrator.

I remember some DUmmies getting all hot and bothered because Ann Coulter did something similar in one of her books.
Meh.

But what about the Pow Wow Chow situation?
The credibility of Massachusetts Democratic Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren took another hit today as Boston radio talk show host Howie Carr released evidence that appears to confirm Ms. Warren may have plagiarized at least three of the five recipes she submitted to the 1984 Pow Wow Chow cookbook edited by her cousin Candy Rowsey

I thought the term Pow Wow had been deemed racist by right-thinking people years ago.

I go to pow-wows 2-3 times a year; the last couple of years, I went to a big intertribal pow-wow in Wichita for Veterans' Day.
If the great white DUmmies are offended by the word, they should take it up with the Indians.
Note: Big Dog is white, and makes no claim of Indian lineage or tribal membership. Indian = woo-woo, not spot-on-forehead)
