Member survives two alerts on him in a thread, he's told of one, but shoots himself anways.
I served on a jury for his second alerted on post and the jury voted 4-2 to leave it alone. He's told that an earlier post of his in that thread was alerted on which a jury split 3-3 to leave alone.

Despite knowing that, he says this in the thread:

"don't fool yourself into thinking we're safe to say what we want here.
The proof is that I WAS alerted on for a fairly painstakingly neutral post.

the "gargoyle" feminists are in control here, never forget that....

one day our feminist overladies will evolve to allow fair, and EQUAL gender discussions, but that is not likely to happen in our lifetime."

Not surprisingly, that's alerted on and the jury votes 5-1 to hide.

5. He was a poster named comtec on DU2

He was banned for misogyny and is back under a new name. Matter of time, really.

14. I alerted on post 5 in that thread by that member

I'd only ever looked in that place I think twice before. I was bored.

Jury results:

At Wed May 16, 2012, 10:02 PM you sent an alert on the following post:

Women, more than men, know the right buttons to push to incite violence
http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1114&pid=764

YOUR COMMENTS:

"Women, more than men, know the right buttons to push to incite violence"

this is simply astounding

Violence in response to speech is not "incited", it is a choice made by the person who uses violence.

Blaming victims of violence at DU?

It just multiplies ... "If you keep insulting someone who is mad, you're going to get hit most of the time unless that person is zen guy." ... "The other half needs to be taught to watch how far they push the situation."

who knows whether the poster is "just a bad bad evil man" ... but this sure is a bad bad evil post

There are women victims of violence at DU who were told by their partners that they caused the violence they suffered. Should they have to be told it at DU? and please, should there be forums at DU they have to stay out of in order to protect themselves from it? I hope not.

JURY RESULTS

A randomly-selected Jury of DU members completed their review of this alert at Wed May 16, 2012, 10:17 PM, and voted 3-3 to LEAVE IT ALONE.

Juror #1 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: This is often unconscious learned behaviour, learned as children from dysfuntional parents. Hiding the thread won't make it go away, it has to be talked about.

Juror #2 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: This is an entirely appropriate post in the men's forum. It is not an attack on any DUer and it is not directed at any DU'er. Men have the same right to explore the domestic violence issue as women. Poster may or may not be wrong, but he is certainly not disruptive or inappropriate.

Juror #3 voted to HIDE IT and said: Poor wording, perhaps not intentional, leads me to vote "hide". Could be offensive or over the top regarding gender and issues of violence.

Juror #4 voted to HIDE IT and said: No explanation given

Juror #5 voted to HIDE IT and said: Poster may as well have saved keystrokes and said "look what that bitch made me do." Disgusting, over the top.

Juror #6 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: No explanation given

Juror #2, did you believe that crap you wrote? Next time, try reading the ****ing post you are supposed to be adjudicating. And try leaving your own misogyny at the door next time you log in. If a poster here made some general remark about how, oh, African-Americans brought slavery on themselves by being so darned <whatever>, that wouldn't be an attack on any DUer either, but d'ya think maybe it might just be an unwise thing to say?

Juror #1, what the **** are you talking about? What has to be talked about? How it's women's fault they get beaten and killed.

Dang. I think I forgot to alert on the jury results. Not sure. Oh well, once more just in case and just for good measaure

Iverglass is a whiny bitch... for a guy.

He gets called out for sbeing a bitch, but fights back... by being a bitch.

47. do please stop saying things that are not true

It just isn't polite. It isn't even liberal, I don't think.

>>I don't see anyone else dragging out things from safe haven groups

The Men's group at DU is not a safe haven group. This is the second time I'm telling you this, and I shouldn't have had to tell you at all. You should be assembling your facts before making accusations, so you don't tell untruths.

>>You said you were bored, so trolled the men's forum looking on stuff to alert on.

I said no such thing. This time all you had to do was read what I wrote, not even do any extra research. It's really easy to tell the truth, although in some cases it may take a little practice to get the habit.

Congrats! You got one (and a good hide at that).

You really are just not paying attention at all, are you?

I was the first person to alert in that thread, on the first post by the poster in question.

My alert failed, 3-3.

A second person alerted on the poster's second post. That alert also failed. Kaleva, who started this thread, was on that jury.

Then someone else, we know not whom, I believe, alerted on the poster's third post in the thread, and it got hidden.

I didn't start this thread. Why don't you go annoy the person who did if you have a problem?

>>If this happened with your new feminism group, you would be screaming bloody murder from every orafice <sic, and yeee, what a bizarre image>.

You been asleep at the switch? So I guess it wasn't you busily alerting on threads in the HofF group the other night ... Nice try there, though! Anybody reading your post might have thought that the watchers and besetters actually were not watching and besetting ...

>>Can't you show them the same respect you ask for your own group?

You know, you might want to be a little circumspect, or somebody might start accusing you of being a man. (Be sure to let me know if it happens and I will do the alerting myself, I absolutely assure you.)

I mean, you don't often see that false equivalency stuff from, like, a feminist. But then maybe you've just given up on that newfound newfangled feminism stuff after all.

>>Can't you just let it go and find another target to stalk

Are you really, really sure you want to say things like this?

Don't worry; just because I ask doesn't mean you have to answer.

LOVE teh DU jury system!!!

I have to wonder...there must be some subset of primitives that are keeping score and competing against each other to see who can get the most posts/threads hidden.

It even seems it is some sort of kill shot if they are able to snipe each other.

I agree, it is entertaining.

Is it me, or is the pathethic Canuck attorney primitive bitching about something, that was done to her, that she advocated doing to someone that she didn't agree with?

"Free speech for me, but not for you--if you don't agree with me."

She's quite a bitch about it.

Well, she can **** a machine.  (I wouldn't wish that on any human being.)

I do.

I daily pray that the iverglas primitive stumbles and falls into a wood-chipping machine.

I read your sentence and my head exploded.

What's astounding to me is that these people willingly choose to hang around each other.  Day after day.

You're making the assumption that I consider the iverglas primitive to be human.

I don't.

I have to tell y'all, the female of the species does indeed drive the male of the species to violence.

As a Bail Bondsman for many years, I can assure you, yes, they do indeed ask for it occasionally. Is it right to lose your temper and give them what they deserve? Absolutely not!

Most men have been raised to walk away before that happens! In my opinion, there is no excuse for not walking away before you hurt the one you love! After 39 years, I know of what I speak!

Totally agree, AR.

Also, my wife has said this to me:  "I know where your guns are, and your ammunition.  I know how to load them, and fire them.  Watch your step." :o :bolt: :panic: :runaway:

I never noticed this primitive before when visiting the DUmp.

I have to agree with everyone here that the DUmmie is one giant, bitchy, pain in the ass.

Serious question, is she a she, or a he, or something else? :???:

Bullshit. Pathological lying is one of the bedrock foundations of today's "liberal".
