Unbelievable

I knew this shit might happen if they got a flawed candidate http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/ppp-polls-wisconsin-recall-walker-50-barrett-45_645028.html

1. I know you tend to be more of a cynic, but I would submit that it's not the candidate

It's the money. Walker is outspending Barrett by a 30-1 margin. The DNC needs to step up. And WE need to step up and give anything we can: $5, $10, $20...whatever we can do to play the game. This is Citizens United at work here.

And remember: Barrett is starting out with a disadvantage. Walker is already the governor and has been campaigning now for over a year. Barrett has just won the primary a week ago. Given that fact, you'd think Walker would be way ahead, but he's not.

Then, we've got to get people out to vote.

On June 5th I predict Walker will be way ahead when it's over.

2. Tell me where I can donate and I will do so. I understand that Debbie Wasserman

head of the DNC is there right now doing whatever it is she is going to do.

She will run her mouth, and say stupid things.

we need more liberals elected and a liberal majority....thanks to last few election cycles were are getting rid of blue dog conservative republicans running around as democrats.

its high time for a liberal majority, then we can build on it for a super liberal majority in both houses, and therefore tell the states they do not have the rights they think they have

The only way to do that is to repeal the 10th Amendment. Is that a step you're ready to take?
After that, which do you repeal next?

You had a liberal majority, and still were not able to get anything but Obamacare done. Are you advocating a single party system? A liberal dictatorship? Ask the Soviets how well that worked out.

I thought the Soviet Union was paradise and all the bad things were just right wing lies.

7. Ed Schultz ginned this up

and now it looks like its going to be a big waste of time and money.

There doesn't appear to be much regret from Wisconsin voters. Not sure what has happened there. Too many people from Indiana and Missouri move there?

Too many people noticed that Walker's policies made things better. Sorry DUmmies Walker will finish his term and probably get a second.

Just imagine if the Republicans were the majority how they would be howling.  They are such nimcompoops.  :mental:

Have you considered not being power-mongering, lying, incompetent goat-****ers?

I know, I know, it wouldn't be much of a Democratic Party then, would it?

If by this, you mean that you forced the blue dog democrats to vote for legislation that was exactly opposite of the positions that they took to get elected in the first place (see the Stupak sellout), then I guess you could say this.  You did not vote them out, though.  Their angry constituents did.

OK, let's get something straight here about Walker and his money:

Quote
Unions already spent more than $40 million last year to successfully repeal an Ohio law that restricted collective bargaining rights and to recall lawmakers who backed a similar measure in Wisconsin. They are spending millions more in a bid to recall Republican Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, who led the charge to curb public employee union rights as a way to balance the state's budget.

So Walker raised what? 25 million dollars? overwhelmingly the money raised was through grassroot efforts. I remember reading that the Unions said they were willing to spend 60 million dollars to defeat Walker, well what happened? they threw tons of money at a failed candidate, are they afraid to throw that money away on a failed candidate? and somehow all of a sudden we hear "Walkers got all this money" "Koch Brothers" "Citizens United" "Blah Blah Blah".

Why would there be? unemployment is much better in Wisconsin under Republican control then it is overall in the US under Obama, and they have a balanced budget under a Republican unlike the US which hasn't had a budget in 3 years under Obama.

Yeah, the DUmmies can't even agree on a number.  One states 30:1 and another states 20:1 difference in money spent.  They are trying to justify the truth of them not being wanted.

You tend to do that when the opposition basically starts a recall campaign the day after the election in 2010.

Wait, did we start a recall campaign for POTUS? No?

Then why has he been campaigning for 3+ years?

Wait, DUmmies, I thought it was common consensus that everyone hated Walker and everyone wanted him gone? If that's the case, what does it matter how much money is spent trying to defeat him?

Walker did exactly what he said he would do and it worked. Exact opposite of what a National Socialist would have done.

I encourage all DUmmies to donate their Cheetos money to Barrett.  I figure that their tears will flow more freely when Walker wins if they have some skin in the game.

Like the DUmmies are actually going to give any real money to Barrett.  Yeah, right.

Oh it's worse than that! The candidate the unions were backin', to the tune of over 20 mil, came in last outa 3! Basically they just threw money down the ****in' toilet!!!

Bet the members payin' the dues are happy as larks!

I'm trying my best to figure this out. Let's see if I got right.
Union slugs spend millions to back a union hack.
Union hack loses big time.
Winner didn't have backing from union thugs, therefore no money was spent for recall.
Therefore, unsupported democratic candidate didn't spend any money.
Democratics now want somebody to hack the voting machings to reflect the "true" wishes of the voters.
I'm getting a headache over this crap.

Even better: when this is over, and the voters of WI tell these fools YES WE REALLY MEANT TO ELECT SCOTT WALKER, he is going to have double or more the political capital he had before. And he'll be able to get even MORE done that they don't like.

Double or nothing, kiddies of the DU, and guess which one YOU get?

That's right.

Bellevue would have gone Socialist if the big guy had raised enough campaign cash to go with pork enchiladas instead of mini-tacos.

Barret isn't even campaigning in or near Madison!

From David Blaska's wonderful blog, Bring It!

The Democrats must pay for this recall! Send them the $16 million bill! (http://www.ibwisconsin.com/Blogs/Right-On/May-2012/The-Democrats-must-pay-for-this-recall-Send-them-the-16-million-bill/)

Where in the world is Tom Barrett? Not in Madison, Wisconsin’s second-largest city.

After Tuesday’s Democrat(ic) primary, Blaska’s Bring It! asked when was the last time a Democratic politician for statewide office refused to campaign in Madison. The answer: “Wednesday,” the day after the primary, when Barrett famously blew off a planned, and announced, unity rally set for the Capitol.

Does Tom Barrett have any plans to set foot in the People’s Republic of Madison?

We asked his Dane County campaign office yesterday and they answered, “We do not have any information regarding that.” We called the Milwaukee state headquarters; they suggested they would get back to me. They took my name, meaning they won’t.

Barrett’s campaign website lists only events on May 22 in La Crosse and May 29 in Green Bay. (That’s a torrid pace, Tom. Slow down and live!)

WisPolitics lists no events anywhere in Dane County. Sing it with me: Where have you gone, Mayor Tom Barrett? Pink Dress Guy, Anarchy Man, Segway Jeremy, and Comrade Nichols turn their lonely eyes to you, woo woo woo.
