In this post, which was not hidden by the jury, I have replaced one word with another word.
Why should the finder share?
The other woman tossed out the ticket, threw it away, which means she lost all claim to it. It's not the finder's fault that the tosser didn't check the ticket to make sure of the number, it was the tosser's responsibilty to do it. She didn't do it, she threw it out, so she gave up claim to it. Selfish greedy ******.

3 members of the jury believe that it is perfectly acceptable to refer to a woman as a bitch. One of them found it so acceptable that they even used the very dismissive sarcastic comment "Groan". This is extremely disturbing. If this was freerepublic, I would expect it. But this is Democratic Underground, a forum whose membership includes some of the most enlightened and evolved progressives in the entire world.
Now I ask you all, why is it OK to use the the sexist slur "bitch" as a negative descriptor for a a woman, but not OK to use the negative descriptor "******" for a black person?
I'll tell you why, in plain English. It is because misogyny is so deeply rooted in our culture, so institutionalized, so acceptable within the collective consciousness of this culture, that many people can't even understand when they are being misogynists. Or, accepting of misogyny.
It is not my purpose to call anyone out here, I completely understand how deeply rooted the erroneous perception, the perception that women are inferior to men, is in this judeo-christian influenced culture. I believe it is high time we honestly faced this , and subsequently eradicate this bullshit once and for all. This issue needs to be resolved, and this post, and this jury decision, has afforded the perfect example, and opportunity, to get it through some people's heads that they are indeed sexist, and they don't even realize it.

Preemptively, it is very clear that my use of the "n word" at the beginning of this post, in this context, should not be considered as having any racist intent, if anyone desires to set up a very disingenuous strawman argument. My intentions in drawing this parallel should be very obvious to any rational person: racism and sexism are equally abhorrent, and this these characteristics/conditions need to be acknowledged, recognized, and eliminated from our society to the greatest possible extent.
Zero tolerance for (in alphabetical order) institutionalized homophobia, racism, and sexism.
