Ann Romney's Health
Ann Romney and the Romney campaign have made a campaign issue about her having suffered from breast cancer and MS. They've claimed that because she's endured such hardships, she has empathy with people who are suffering from... everything.
I don't know that much about MS. The one person I know well who has it, is a great deal more impaired that Ann Romney. I do know that it can be in remission and it can vary in severity. Mrs. Romney is evidently in pretty good shape; witness her campaign activities.
Mrs. Romney did have breast cancer:
"Ann Romney, wife of presidential hopeful Mitt Romney, was diagnosed and treated for early stage breast cancer in 2008. Soon after her diagnosis, she released a statement saying she had been diagnosed with ductal carcinoma in-situ (DCIS), a non-invasive type of breast cancer that is considered to be a precancerous form of the disease.
After a routine mammogram, the then 59-year-old underwent a lumpectomy, followed by radiation therapy. While DCIS is not life threatening, when left untreated, in some cases it can become invasive. According to the American Cancer Society, 1 in 5 cases of breast cancer diagnosed are DCIS.

I'm trying to write this very carefully.
I'm sure it was scary to get her diagnosis, but it was what's called "stage zero" breast cancer It was never life threatening and fortunately for her she didn't have to undergo grueling chemotherapy. She didn't need reconstructive surgery.
She has the best of care for her MS. She had the best of care for her very early stage breast cancer. She didn't have to worry for one second about anything but focusing on getting well. Good for her.
But the constant trumpeting of the campaign about how much Ann Romney has suffered and overcome, is largely untrue. Like so much else about this pair.
She is the most clueless woman I can imagine.
Yes, Ann Romney got a relatively "harmless" form of breast cancer. She was extremely lucky!! But, you know what? When she first felt that lump, when she had her biopsy, when the doc first used the word "cancer," she didn't feel very lucky at all!!!! She felt the same fear that all of us feel when confronted by a dread disease, or circumstances that are out of our control. Her first feelings weren't relief that she could afford her treatment; I can GUARANTEE that her first thoughts were about her children, her grandchildren, and all the things that she would miss if she died way too young!
I don't care how "carefully" you want to word your hateful screed, Cali, you sack of barf, if you have never had cancer or MS or any other horrible disease, then you are far luckier than Ann Romney. FOAD, you toad.

As far as I'm concerned, I hope they all choke on their own vicious hatred. "Families should be off-limits!" Sounds good to them, until it's a Republican involved. Obama brings Malaria and Sasquatch into virtually every issue, from the BP oil spill to the Sandra Fluke controversy, but they are off limits! The Mooch wants to tell us all what and how much we can all eat, but she's off limits!
Ann Romney has acted with class, and as a lady compared to the First Wookie, who was never proud of her country until it nominated its first Affirmative Action candidate, but Ann is trashed for speaking out on motherhood, her husband, and her own personal health issues.

I really hate to revel in someone's misfortune, but right at this moment nothing makes me happier than knowing that some of Cali's viciousness backfired on her in such an appropriate way!
Seriously, I really think the only way that piece of crap could gain any empathy would be if she herself got breast cancer--and actually had a moment of self-revelation, in which she would realize that $$ is the least significant thing in life.

Twenty six years ago I was 30 years old, 8 months pregnant, feeling great, and loving life, when I was diagnosed with cancer. I had the kind of insurance that can't be gotten anymore, and I had one of the most treatable, and curable, forms of cancer there is. Know what? I still thought I was pretty unlucky.

One of my best friends dad died from MS. He was in great health with it for years playing in bands with my father and uncles, until one day it flared up and he changed for the worse. It was at that point that he started to go down hill. His health deteriorated pretty quickly after it hit him, he died in less than three years of the flare up.
The moron who wrote that post needs to know some things before she talks. Then that is typical for liberals, they all talk with out any knowledge of what they are saying. Stupid idiots.

Rumor has it she's an elderly aunt of my fellow alum Skins, but as that rumor comes from the elmers, it could probably be discounted, given that the elmers haven't been right about anything yet.
However, she does seem to get away with a lot, that other primitives wouldn't.
She went to a fancy girls' private school in California, although she's from Old Money and Much Money in Connecticut. During the 1960s, she got all enamoured of the black culture, and fell for a black guy.
Or perhaps there was, uh, violence in that association.
She then joined the hippie migration to Vermont, one of the whitest states in the union.
She alleges herself non-racist, but some years ago, when another primitive suggested much of the population of inner-city Los Angeles be relocated elsewhere in the country (because of southern California's propensity for geological catastrophes), she immediately snapped back, "Well, we don't want them here."

MS is one of the those diseases that doesn't generally express itself in physical appearance. Most people with MS look perfectly healthy, but they can feel excruciating pain with no cause because the issue is in the nerves themselves. Also, fatigue is huge. I heard once person describe the fatigue that comes with MS like the fatigue you feel with a bad case of the flu, where even getting out of bed is difficult.
With all the people on disability for all sorts of BS reasons on DU, how dare they judge another person's illness? They are just so used to people milking a disease for all that it is worth to qualify for disability that they don't understand that people persevere through illness.

Yet, this POS posted about her broken leg last fall for which she apparently got the very best of care since she's back to typing her typical hateful screeds. She posted for and received major sympathy.
I'd have thought the type of injury she suffered may have caused her black heart to lighten. I thought wrong. Cali's just evil. There's no other reason for posting what she did about Ann Romney.

Guys, this should really come as no surprise to any of us. As soon as it was made known that Ann Romney was sick in some way, they were going to be on her like stink on a hippie. I say we don't get angry or outraged, we know how they are. Instead, let's encourage them!
Get them to attack Ann Romney for having cancer and MS, get them talking as much shit about her as they possibly can! Remember how well attacking her for being a stay at home mom went? They've decided to double down on stupidity and hatred, who are we to stand in their way? Nothing will take away more votes and support from barry big ears than having his rabid acolytes post their true feelings on the internet.
