Those pics are gorgeous!

The shepherd on the horse with the dog looking up at him is a great shot. The eye is drawn first to the dog, then to the horse, then to the man who seems tired, but determined.
"Determination" seems to be a quality that runs throughout this photo series. Great stuff, really love it.

Thank you so much for sharing these!!!!

Not through looking at them all, but I'm taken with the Jack Whinery family. They live in that rough-hewn structure with their five kids. Mrs. Whinery has made sure that each of her kids has one nice, clean, colorful outfit, fit to be photographed in and to sing on a stage in a choir (even though they don't all have shoes). She has taken care to plant flowers along with the vegetables in the garden. Doesn't this speak volumes?
A few of those kids I bet, grew up to be gorgeous, too.

Mr. Whinery may have been born on 11 JUN 1907 and died on 26 OCT 1994. He died in Clifton, Mesa County, Colorado. The birth date seems to fit well.

I enjoyed looking at those. Thanks for sharing them.
I've been to a few of the areas photographed. Not quite that long ago, maybe almost. It was cool to see.
