Title: Coyote skull
Post by: SSG Snuggle Bunny on May 11, 2012, 02:21:36 PM
There's a dead coyote along the road where I live. It's been there for a while, long enough so that it no longer stinks. I want its skull but the fur is still mostly there.

What's a good way of getting it stripped down to the bone?

Let some attack bunnies gnaw on it for awhile.

Set it near a large anthill.

This.  Even after that, get your tweezers and a scalpel or other very sharp, thin knife, grab a beer (or iced tea - in my case) and settle in to pick.  There are good instructions for bleaching on the internet.
