Do we Democrats have something in place to replace the voter registration that ACORN used to do?

That was the main reason the GOP killed off ACORN... to hurt Democratic registration drives.... part of a two-pronged attack (the other being the Voter ID laws).

What Democratic organization is taking up the slack?

Unions?

I thought 0bama was going to win in a huge landslide, so why would they need this?

1. The Obama campaign claims to have a very good ground game.

I hope they are right.

Their ground game is, lying about 0bama's record and calling Romney a poopy head.

If by "hurt Democratic registration drives" you actually mean "stop monolithic voter fraud by democrats" then you bet your DUmb ass that we are killing it off. Its just not safe to allow Democrats to have power in this nation any longer. Its not in the country's best interests.

We "Killed off" Acorn for two reasons:
1. They were rampantly engaging in/ aiding in illegal voter fraud.
2. They were exposed as being willing to act as accomplices/ accessories to what they thought was a sex- trafficking operation.

In the coming election, Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse will be disenfranchised.

Sadly, the thread fizzled.  Zero recs, and only two replies, the second of which is

2. I'm confused.

Didn't most Democrats vote to defund ACORN? Didn't Obama sign the legislation?

My NY senators (Schumer, Gillebrand) love what's left of ACORN.  They proudly accepted awards, and would not distance themselves from them.  I wrote them both nasty notes, and got a boilerplate reply.  "Thank you for writing, your views are so important to me."   :bird:

Why are you using the tutu-wearing old dude's trophy wife as your avatar?

If it's not her, it's pretty damned close.

Only if that view is from some exotic place like HI-waa-yaa or the Mediterranean sea.

Oh.

It's not exactly a resemblance, but it's kind of a resemblance, to the tutu-wearing old dude's trophy wife.
