Heard Dick Morris on Hannity's radio show while I was running errands today. He's pimping his new book Screwed, but it's about some scary stuff that, if it happens, it won't matter who wins the election...because it will change this country forever. He's got a column about it here (http://www.dickmorris.com/screwed-dick-and-eileens-new-book-is-available/#more-8812). He's also going to be on Hannity's TV show. Morris is horrid at predicting elections but his research is always spot on.
There are 6 treaties being negotiated with the UN & EU that, if ratified by the Senate (I didn't know the House doesn't get a vote so basically we're screwed), will pretty much gut the Constitution and change this country forever. Here's the list:
o Enact comprehensive gun control,
o Ban space based missile interceptors (our best defense against Iran and North Korea),
o Require us to pay a UN body half of our royalties from off-shore drilling,
o Establish a legal right to US foreign aid,
o Ban use of our military without U.N. approval.
o Create a legal right to welfare
All they need is 2/3 vote in the senate, something they can easily get. If this happens (one of these, can't remember which one, is even being pimped by Luger) it won't matter who's president. Evidently, according to Morris, they figure they're going to lose the WH and the senate so they need to push these pet things through before it's too late.
Since international treaties supersede the constitution (Lord knows what the founders were thinking of here) it will take Constitutional Amendments to dissolve them. I just can't believe this is happening to this country and that the citizens let it get this far. I have no idea how we can possibly combat this since they don't even care if they're booted out of office if they're ratified.

I don't think any of that crap will pass. It would take 17 Republicans and the 53 Democrats to vote for it. No way in the world that would happen. He is just trying to peddle his book.
Personally, I think the guy is just a slimy creep just like Clinton. Who calls their boss after banging a whore? I betcha he knows a hell of a lot more about Clinton's escapades than he is will to tell cause it would implicate himself in all probability.
