Ultra-conservative North Carolina Republican congresswoman Virginia Foxx, chair of the Higher Education Subcommittee in the House, made news in the past week when she said that she has "very little tolerance" for people who take out student loans. "There's no reason for that. We live in an opportunity society and people are forgetting that ... You don't sit on your butt and have it dumped in your lap."

I heard the full quote on hate radio the other day, and as usual they left out a lot when they quoted her.
She said she doesn't have tolerance for people who took out student loans, who then whine when it's time to pay them back.

Yeah the nerve of her to suggest that when one takes out a loan they pay it back. :mental:
