Title: JakeStyle, happy birthday!

Happy birthday to one of my heroes here!

Jake has been a long-time member, almost four and a half years, but never "opened up," commenting until, oh, about two years ago, since which time he's made conservativecave bigger and better.

Marines drive me nuts; even in real life, they disdain anything suggesting they're more than ordinary people.  One supposes that's drilled into them, but to we ordinary people, they're still extraordinary.

Jake has a great signature line; every time I scroll down a page and get to it, I pause for half a second to read it, so as to ensure it stays engraved in this mind.  It gives one much encouragement, determination, fortitude, or solace, whichever one is seeking at the moment.

It's today, Thursday.

I'd posted it very late last night, because I wasn't sure how long my internet connection would last, and wanted to get it out.
