Title: Who Was This Person? #12
Post by: CG6468 on May 02, 2012, 08:51:37 PM
A job as a carhop kick-started his career. To generate tips he would joke around to make his customers laugh. Born in Atlanta, he was an accomplished actor and singer on stage.

His film roles were remarkably scarce, but he will always be remembered for his role a movie in what is now considered a cult classic.

WTF????  :???:  :naughty:

Hey, how come just Hollywood celebrities?

Some of us after all are movies-impaired.

Why not mix it a bit, such as asking "who was the first person known to read without moving his lips?"

Point taken, Frank. I felt that Hollyweird types would be the best known, but I'll give it a shot.

Yeah, if you can, sir, please mix it up--historical figures, business personalities, science and technology, world leaders, whatnot.

Of course I'm acutely aware that most aren't movies- or music-impaired, and so that's the "market" for these threads, and it's all cool, it's all copacetic, let's have more and more and more of them.

But an exception here and there, once in a blue moon, is appreciated.

<<okay to be left out 99% of the time, but not okay to be left out 100% of the time.
